Jeez, could only dream of my parents spending that amount of monies on me for my 21st. Won't happen though, my dad is a right tight b*****d LOL.
Enjoy the car! It looks like a good un!
If there is any time at the end or anyone pulls out and a space becomes available, I'll put the squeaky, smokey, shitty old DERV on the rollers! Just for giggles.
Wouldn't mind finding out how powerful the thing is after a DIY tune, my mate reckons it has 120BHP but I think that's being...
Mallory Park is 57 years old, so it's been there longer than probably all of the local residents. Don't move into an area where there is a race track nearby if you don't like the sound.
I'd love to live local to a race track... would be on it every weekend!
Harnesses are fitted, been fitted for ages haha!
CV gaiter, brake pads/discs all round, wheels are being refurbed, need two tyres, MOT and insurance!
Oh, and I need the belts and dephaser done too.
And the exhaust mount bolts need drilling out

If you have to mod it then I'd say upgrade to 172 5 spoke alloys, colour code the plastics, RS grille and some lowering springs.
I wouldn't bother with engine mods, won't improve the performance.
No, in short.
Stick to OEM pads up back, something like 80% of the braking is done by the front brakes, something like that.
I'm sure someone will be along soon to give you more detail, but it's not worth shelling out that sort of cash for such minimal benefits.
Needs a splitter and clean plates, will totally clean the front end up.
Personally, I wouldn't put Ph2 side strips on it, especially if you are reverting back to Ph1 rear lights.
Would also like to know if anyone near or around Plymouth or West Cornwall has CLIP. Will need my airbag computer thingy reprogrammed as I've fitted buckets and a new (airbagless) steering wheel will be on it's way soon too.
