It's a big and expensive job to get an engine, especially a larger car engine, set up on an engine dyno for short-time use, plus, unless you have your own dyno, finding a company who are going to let you do a few runs won't be easy. Since everyone is painting their manifolds, what would be the easiest to REMOVE paint from a manifold? Someone who owned my car before me did quite a half arsed job it seems of painting it (paint is now flaking and generally looks bad)

Yeah, like I said it will be checked anyway, fortunately I never have to go on the motorway and my commute is pretty low speed anyway.
