Looking at replacing the tie rods on my trophy as part of a front suspension refresh, my question is will this lemforder part from eurocarparts fit?
part number is 600745365 and it states that the total length is 320mm
I like the looks of them but are they safe and are they going to protect you? The main bar that goes around the b pillar looks a bit thin and I understand they aren't made from as strong metal as a normal cage.
Personally if your going to get cage and harnesses id go for fixed buckets. They will be much cheaper than them recaros too (depending on which ones you buy)
They don't have to have side air bags that's your choice really. I'm assuming its a fair big cheaper without them. Thought about other options like fixed buckets? Or you wanting to keep it as a comfy oem daily sort of thing?
Well I know the dog bone is different, but this link to ktecs website states "fits all 172 and 182 models" and I don't see why they would be different when it's the same engine/box

As far as I remember its the pre cat lambda that controls the fuelling, also known as upstream.
The lambda after the cat is just for emissions so shouldn't affect running.

More than happy with my powerflex. Added a slight bit extra vibration through the stick and car but nothing to worry about. But changed the feel a fair bit.
Depends whether they have a centre silencer and cat or decat. Fitting a 182 manifold wouldn't be a bad idea as they're 421 stainless I believe. May gain 3bhp from the manifold? Complete guess really. And decays seem to just make them rev a bit more freely. Might be more beneficial on a 172 than...
Don't see why it wouldn't. As long as the section before the boxes was made so that the tips lined up correctly in the cut outs. I assume your talking about a 182 btw.
Also pure Motorsport have just brought out a 172 race system which looks a nice bit of kit. Haven't read any reviews on it but I'm sure it will be good as there other products seem to be. Depends how much you want to spend.

Tbh there all going to do pretty much the same thing so just listen to a few YouTube videos and see what you like the sound of. But there tends to be some manufacturers that may not have designed them very well for specific cars but I'm sure there's a lot of threads on these. And no you won't...
The clios with the headlight washers fitted have 2 pumps on the washer bottle so would need a new bottle. But also the uch would need to be programmed to actually operate them. Just get some blanks tbh!
Have emailed larkspeed to change the order back to konis. At work so can't really call them. Hopefully they read the email before the spax get dispatched! Long wait for the konis though!
cheers for the help

I ordered from larkspeed that's who told me there's no stock. I think the psx dampers are the same as used in their rsx coilover kit? Not 100% though. Wanted the konis but can't really wait 4 weeks tbh. Did put a wanted thread up for a used trophy rear Sachs but doubt anyone will have one going...
One of my trophy Sachs rears failed so decided to get adjustable konis.
Then found out that there's no stock in the country and there would be a 4 week wait!
have now ordered spax psx adjustable rears.
Anyone got any experience of these?
Cheers

Ah I see. It looks like the metal collar on that new one is longer than it is on a normal gear stick so maybe it locks reverse out by the metal collar hitting plastic inside the gear housing?
just wondered because I don't really want to go to all the effort of fitting it if its not going to...
