The rev limiter is hit at 7250rpm when it's warmed up so looks like it hasn't been mapped.
Also doesn't rev itself when cold and slowing down.
So I need to buy the tuner and the map but do I also need to buy the licence?
I just checked. When it's warm it idles quite smoothly at about 800rpm and in 1st and 2nd gear the limiter hits at about 6600rpm. It doesn't feel really restricted below 5000rpm but the power does kick in there.
Hi
Is any way of checking whether my car has already been remapped using RSTuner? I was thinking of remapping but that would obviously be a complete waste of money if it has already done!
Thanks
I had a leak too in my 182 (I had half an inch of water in the driver footwell) and I just pulled the carpet up and took the spongy underlay out about an hour ago. The sponge underlay was wet through and heavy with water but you can actually at least take that out (in mine at least) without...
I've watched a few of his videos and they are all good so I recommend subscribing to his channel. He does a good one one about refurbing headlights too.
I fitted a evol engineering dogbone (road use one) myself last week in half an hour or so you could do that yourself. I just put 2 wheels on the kerb, slid underneath and did it that way. It made a big pretty improvement on it's own so I'd certainly say that was worth it for the money.
So I bought and fitted a evol engineering blue (road use) dogbone mount on my 182 cup and am impressed at the improvement that it gives.
I am thinking to also replace the upper right mount also with a polyurethane one. Anybody recommend/comment/waste of money on this or any other suggestions...
I'm sure you are in the right because of your detailed description and photos.
But if he's in the wrong and is determined to make a claim then he/his insurers may warp the truth and claim you did some dangerous manoever or other which caused the accident. Even with photos etc is all very...
I bought a bluetooth obd2 scanner off ebay for about 3 or 4 quid. It communicates with a free android app called torque and can read and clear fault codes and do other stuff using your phone without paying.
After much ado I replaced my flaky paint heater. To do this I removed my radio but now have sound form only the passenger side speakers. Does anyone know which wire/connector needs looking at to fix this? Thanks.
I see others recommending the michelin pilot sport 3s too. So probably best to move the potenzas to the rear and buy two michelins for the front then. Must be better than having 2 bridgestones on the passenger side and 2 cheapos on the drivers side anyway. If there are better deals people know...
Cheers I'll check them out. The set up is feels OK but when you see the same tyres (the potenzas on one side of the car and then cheap ones on the other) it makes you wonder.
What are the best/decent tyres for a clio 182 cup for normal road use? I don't want to spend top money. I currently have 2 bridgestone potenzas with loads of tread left and 2 cheapo ones (a ninju and a nexan I think) with less tread so I want to put the new tyres on the front and relegate the...
I thought 205-110 anthracite was the dark metallic grey paint used on wheels for 182 cup models like mine. My bullets aren't that colour they are plain silver.
I did this to replace the heater unit because the paint was flaking off. If you are just doing that then I also don't think you actually need to unplug those connectors.
I did this at the weekend. They are hard to remove. I eventually used a screwdriver on mine to prise them a little (just below those tabs on the bottom of your photo) while pushing in the release catches on the connector on the other side. They are also hard to push back in. Just persevere they...
The paint was flaking off my heater control panel and fitted a second hand one from ebay. If anybody plans on doing that there is no need to remove the hazard light panel like the guide says and you also don't need to flex the panels to take it out even though it is a tight fit. Once you've...
I've had a xiaomi mi4 for just over a year now and its a brilliant phone, can't recommend it enough. I have never had any issues with this phone at all.
The xiaomi mi4c that you mention has a slightly lower spec than the mi4 but not much and is a bit cheaper (don't think the frame is stainless...
First I bought disposable razers which worked OK but got clogged up a bit quick so then I got a large battery powered clothes defuzzer off ebay for 3 quid which is the best thing to do. They are pretty much perfect now
