Fine by me! Once there is a confirmed date let me know and I'll advertise it on RSMegane as well. There's a guy with a 330bhp R26.R who is interested in coming along.
If anyone is after this setup then PM me as I'm selling my car so it's no longer required. It's done about 1000 miles so is practically brand new. £30 delivered ONO.
Does anyone insure their Clio on a classic policy? I've got the opportunity to buy my girlfriend's car for next to nothing so I was thinking of using that for commuting and then the Clio for weekends. It's a Ph1 so is nearly 15 years old. I don't have a garage which might be an issue.

I used to have an R27 and honestly prefer it in every way to my Ph1. It did cost four times as much though...
The 197s are considerably more confidence inspiring and do feel safer on the road. I had a decat magnex exhaust with no centre silencer and to me, it sounded awesome as it would pop...

2) Mysterious knock from front off side when lifting off throttle at low speeds. Possibly driveshaft or engine mount.
3) Off side driveshaft cv boot has a tiny nick in it and a small amount of cv grease has leaked out.
4) Passenger...
The original 197 wheels aren't Raiders. Raiders were the the brushed face ones available on the 200. I belive the original wheels were just called 'sport' wheels.
Argh! I've driven quick cars with s**t tyres before; awful! You have to tell your insurers if you put a different panel filter in but if you take off your Michelin Pilot Sports and replace them with some Linglong Love you long time plastic Chinese remoulds then that's okay... Mad!
