Well I tried to put them in the text as pictures but they came out really small. Couldn't work out how to do it so these will have to do for now :-/ Maybe I'll be able to put them on right next time.
Here's my pictures of today's meet. They're taken on my phone though (I don't have a fancy camera like Paul).
Was nice to meet some new people...when we all eventually decided to talk :o

My 197 gets 22 to about 26 normally. It's less than two miles to work for me so the car's not really warm in winter by the time I get there. I sit in traffic for most of the journey on the way back too. I got 35 on the way to TOPO the other weekend. It was about 40 miles and was travelling at...
Spotted a white 200 with a private plate (L something) going from Selston towards Jacksdale tonight at about 9:10pm. I was waiting at the cross roads in my Albi 197. Are you on here?

Not sure exactly what you mean but.. if all you're after is something to make the sensor contact properly with the windscreen, then all you need is some hair gel. I did this on my first Clio. It'd had a new windscreen and the sensor wasn't stuck back on right. I used "No Nails" permanent strips...
I know there's already a few threads of pictures from TOPO, but here are mine. They're taken on my phone so apologies if they're not that great.

Take a look on Dynamic Sounds. I bought mine from there. Was more towards £200 including the stalk adaptor but it was worth it. I got a Pioneer DEH 6100 BT. Got handsfree, aux for i-pod etc. USB connector too. I'm really pleased with it. There'll be a cheaper one with a few less features though...
Try heating the stickers up with your Mrs's hair dryer. It'll soften the glue and hopefully you'll be able to get them off easily enough. Don't go too mad the heat tho. If there's some sticky left afterwards, try a bit of white spirit on A cloth. It's also great for getting tar marks off (and is...
Nice photos Paul. Enjoyed my first CS meet, even if it did take all the way home for me to thaw out. It was flippin freezin. Nice to meet some of the gang too.
I hope someone can answer exactly what the 'clunk' is that you mention. Mine does the same thing (I think) that you're describing. Only when it's cold, when you lift the clutch up sharply or change gear or ease off sharply there is a clunk from the rear of the car. Sounds like it's coming from...
Looks amazin. Leave it how it should be. I like the subtle spoiler too. Shame they haven't sorted it being so jerky when cold. You feel like a bit of a prat cruising down the road like it's the first time you've driven a car. Only thing you can do is don't ease of the throttle unless you're...
I only do short journeys but here's what I approximately get:
Just under £70 to fill it up
Always sits around 22.5 to 24.5 mpg
I tend to get about 240 odd miles to a tank
You'll be able to get low 30's on a steady motorway drive
As you said though, you don't buy a 197 for economy...
I don't know if you've solved your problem but try this:
Mine used to do a similar thing although I've sold it now. Started it to clear the ice off the screen etc. Noticed when it started, the engine was running for about 0.5 seconds before rev. counter or petrol gauge moved. Turned it off and...
You can get the rubber mounts replaced at an exhaust and tyre place if you've not changed them already. Chances are, they've perished, and the bracket on the exhaust will have dropped down on to the metal bracket. You'll notice a lot of 182's with uneven exhausts. Mine cost £30 at Selecta Tyre...
Mine does a similiar thing. Started it to clear the ice off the screen etc. Noticed when it started, the engine was running for about 0.5 seconds before rev. counter or petrol gauge moved. Turned it off and went back inside. Went back out, started fine and parked it on the road. Next time I...
