Glad your back and sorted! Can't wait to get mine back as well. Andy is a good bloke, we've all been through difficult times so a little understanding goes a long way.

Yeh appears that way [emoji17] not good really.
I booked two days off work, Day 1 to get it through MOT and 2 to give it a polish and put it up for sale, guess it didn't want to go as it went on the way for MOT.
They were PEC Pistons, have got wossner ones now. Still not 100% on what caused it.
I know hurts that I'll never get anywhere near what I've put in but I knew that before I started.
I'm gonna put it up for £6000, I think that's sensible enough?
Cheers, I hope so not looking forward to putting it up for sale though [emoji17]
The reason I asked is mine are near the limit already, seem to be a very soft tire and wear quickly. Only been on about 4 months [emoji85]
Really find mine a bit too loud at times, decat doesn't help. Think mines shorter than that but if it's as you say can they do it without taking the engine out?
Ah right, think George went that route and it was a bodge. They only do 2.25" inch at my local one, my exhaust is 2.5" though.
I've asked Andy for a price of one of his a few times but not had a response. I need to do something though so will try power flow. Cheers [emoji106]
Glad your happy with the car Tom, think a diff puts more strain on the box though.
Which down pipe and link pipe are you using?
Mine knocks now when it didn't use too, driving me insane just want to find someone who can sort it for me.
Mines 320bhp / 300lbft torque, paddle clutch, uprated mounts, solid top mounts and lowered on cooksports.
I use it daily and for work it's my only car, average 26.8 mpg and that's 95% town driving, but I keep it on boost. I could easily get over 30mpg daily and had 42mpg on the motorway...
Hi I'm looking for a good auto fabricators around the Manchester area if anyone knows one.
Need a new flexi pipe, and the modification of my downpipe / link pipe to stop any knocking, maybe a brace too.
Thanks
Hey on the verge of scratching an itch, so considering coming to part with my car.
would like to know what it's worth.
2005 BG 182 @ 75000k
Garrett GT25 Turbo running at 1.0+ bar (320bhp, 300lbft of torque)
Wossner Rods and pistons, pistons CR @ 9:5:1
ARP Bolts, ACL bearings
Clio Turbo boost...
I'll email him to check, I only moved to adaptronic early this year so may already be on the current version. Mines much smoother than previous though. The vibratechnics are good mate not as bad as people make out.
Ah right I'm using that and not had a problem thus far and I'm running more boost. Maybe try without the ground wire there seems a coincidence really.
Drove a few different cars and they all seem somewhat disconnected in comparison to the clio and let's face it not going to be able to afford...
Strange maybe worth you going for the adaptronic coil pack? My turbo to downpipe is the only one that didn't come loose [emoji23]
Mine felt flat too wasn't sure why, but guess the heat won't help.
Just more niggles really for me as mentioned above. Got a paddle clutch last week as the...
Gutted for you mate! Thought you had a new coil pack already? Least your still keeping with it and getting through the list.
Just having some problems myself. Knocking, boost pipe keeps popping off and gear box leaking oil. Oh and air filter has ripped so just ordered a new one with a strong...
First time I'd seen my car do this [emoji5]️ was parked there over night and when I put it on flat ground the passenger rear was still off the ground [emoji85].
Ah ok, thought you might of damaged it due to launching.
I've never done a 1st gear launch as it would just rip the box apart I feel, but second once going is epic and I shouldn't do it but cant help it.
Well there's several options. the most popular is to go to Andy at clioturbo.co.uk , then there's a choice of 230bhp @ £2999, 280bhp @ £3999 and 320+bhp @ £4999 , these all include fitting and mapping.
you can source parts yourself and have seen kits available on here for sale or Andy can also...
Haha Tom! 2nd gear pulls are addictive, sounds like you did quite a few 😂 what happened to your drive shaft?
There has to be a few strengthening mods to help prolong the life of the jc5 boxes, I need to do some research.
Think I'll need a box before next year:up:
Thought I'd give this a little update.
Cars been great, It's provided me with lots of smiles and viewings in my mirrors.
But...... now I need a new clutch 😂 300lbft and a heavy foot mean't less than two months on the organic. to be fair I didn't expect to get that sort of power...
