Do they not use pencil coils any more? Mine was like this but 1.6 and had to replace a pencil coil. Bit like driving a tractor.

Hi Ady Te write ECU is for the ECU firmware update etc. Henk would send you this only if it needs to be updated first, my current car did but my previous did not. you just use write Cal to upload the ron 98 calibration.

Did they charge you for tracking? You will need it re doing. they should have pointed out that tracking would have been pointless until the track rod end is replaced. as there is play so the adjustments made will be lost fairly quickly Edit: they'd only do it for money I'm afraid Johnny

It's around £8 for the part, then fitting plus tracking your looking at around £50. I paid £53.95 just the other week. Some places charge £30 for tracking alone so not too bad.

Spotted a Petrol Blue 182 yesterday afternoon on Highfield Road Farnworth. Really amazing colour, Ultra rare too I believe.
