haha I know that excited feeling you'll be having right now Tom :tonguewink: Andy's done the build and Chris will do the mapping! Can only be awesome  You'll be very surprised what 280bhp feels like, Fingers crossed for collection next week
Thanks @George182 all swapped out now, Renault were a few pounds cheaper but delivery was slower as they had to come from a place I've now forgot [emoji23] while your here though George which injectors do you have?
Update:
both front shocks replaced, no more bouncy bouncy knock knock 😂 Handling has now been restored and feels great!
Andyrg is helping me get the heat shield and fuel regulator sourced.
So just need to find a decent set of boost pipes and maybe intercooler if mine is where the...
Still not managed to progress any yet, Booked in to get my oil leak looked at and a front shocker has failed  Far too many problems with this car
That's a real nice exhaust! I need some kind of turbo back exhaust that sounds the nuts!
Yeh Spinksy I forgot about the reg ha! Just knew Jesus as being in that area.
Sorry Ade mate, I'm in Lancashire too ;)
Like everyone has said it's only a waste of money if it's something you don't really want! My Cruise control doesn't seem to work, it did before it went it!!
....But boost!!!
That's brilliant thanks Chris! I haven't spoken to EFi Chris yet, just trying to get the bits sorted first. Andy is able to sort a heat shield and fuel regulator. just need the 2.25" boost pipes that's if the intercooler I have is fine.
Is there an email for Andy Cutler? want to see if he...
@tomhunt85 Cheers Tom :) things are getting better I think. oh man whats wrong with yours?
@incy-spider Chris you legend!! how have you found this out? so all versions of the gen90 can do boost control?
Thanks Andy, just knew they where bigger than 2" and remember seeing a five along the way :)
Cheers Chris, we tried to get on here to find out, down at the wrong time ha. I know at one point I thought 220bhp was to be the max, really chuffed with 273bhp after all its just a GT25 :P
Sorry mate...
Well today was mapping day! I went to EFI really fed up with the car, oil leaks and noises still lingering and just not enjoying driving the car at all really.
Things didn't go so smoothly but I didn't think they would with the luck I've had. Getting the electronic boost solenoid to work with...
Haha Christ! Another thing too look out for [emoji23] Just want to say thanks as well Chris! As you've had to put up with all my questions and given me the answers I needed. So thank you really is appreciated [emoji106] will give an update on Sunday with hopefully a decent video.
Thanks Rob :) yup more downs than ups I'm afraid! but spent to much to let go even though it's crossed my mind several times.
Nearly at the end......for now :P
Fitted Pure motorsport topmounts and Evol dogbone mount to replace the already perished polybushed one.
More noise and vibration!!!! argghhhhh
But on a plus EFI on Sunday!! Pretty damn excited as this has been such a long and frustrating journey, shame I had resort to taking it else where and...
This is brilliant! Love that side mounted turbo. I've just changed to Evol's dogbone mount too as my polybushes crumbled, hope the vibrations die down a bit :P
If you have suspension and brakes sorted already, I'd say 4k for turbo conversion and 2k for gearbox. 300bhp is easily achievable but it's what purpose you will use the power. if your doing track etc then you should look for the 02m gearbox as standard wont put up with much abuse.
ND04 I'm not sure what brand it is, I just paid for an uprated clutch. The noise was said to be the release bearing as it was new, but the noise is still there.
I've no idea ha! I made a mistake [emoji23] I don't blame you for wanting it perfect. Would feel so much better driving it if each and every bit was to spec.
Good to see an update [emoji5]️ no planned technical wizardry? New clutch is pretty pricey [emoji85] lets hope it suits your needs. I went with organic and where it's great to use it's noisy, could be down to who fitted it.
