Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project Haha the things we do, I only went forged because I had an oil leak and noisy dephaser makes sense to get it bang on first time will save heavily on labour costs. Even 180bhp with 180 torque would be an improvement over standard for Eco mode.

As George said you haven't had much luck so far, but hopefully you can now start to enjoy your car knowing everything is sorted. £800 for the gearbox rebuild is far more than I expected :eek: I'm guessing this included the cost of removing the box and many packs of biscuits.

I don't think so was the gt25 from ktecs low pressure kit.

Brilliant thanks for that Chris, yeh it gets delivered tomorrow so will take it to be fitted after the running in stage before it's final map. Hope this helps things, a little worried that the gt25 wouldn't perform well higher up the revs especially pushing it to 280.

Ste at SC autos will be doing the mapping. I'll speak to him next week as I have time until it goes back for the remap and boost turned up. If you bought it online please could you pm me the link. For £50 though seems like a very worth while addition.

A nice update how much does this type of boost controller cost? Will look for something similar if it makes that much of a difference.
