Yeah it does, but you need to get a separate cable/connector type thing, mine cost me about £30 or so from a guy on here, MT AUDIO I think his username is.
My Alpine X305 does the job very well, however I've always thought the fascia was a bit cheap feeling. It's very plasticky and the buttons (with the exception of the big round button in the middle) have a very cheap feel to them. Which is a bit crap for a pricey unit.
However, it does the job...
I love how people go out of their way to "be different", even though most of the time it looks crap.
There's a reason a lot of people do the same old mods, because it's subtle, and it looks good. I'm one of the so called "sheep" (Turinis, cup spoiler, lowered, etc.), and I bloody love the...
Silver 197 parked up near me at St. Johns sports centre, then I saw a Blue 200 at the roundabout near the Kent & Sussex hospital.
Hello, if you're on here!
By handle, do you mean pull it off without looking gash?
I suppose I see what you mean. But I dunno, I like them. But as with most things in life it's subjective, would be a bit boring if everyone liked the same things :)
I've seen a Photoshopped image of a lime green 1*2 with white Turinis on here before, no idea where to find it now though.
Not Alien Green, but it did look friggin awesome!
Cool, thanks Terry.
Might have to buy a new one then. It's getting quite annoying, and I definitely don't want to damage the cat as I've had it modified slightly. Would be a right ball ache is that broke!
Ignoring the ARB the sportlines were a lot better. They were more comfortable and they handled better.
With the ARB, I actually think it's on par in terms of handling, but obviously the coilovers are more uncomfortable still.
The only reason I went coilovers is because I wanted it lower. I...
Not really. There's plenty of other parts which cost less than the OEM parts and yet they are considered better.
Whilst cheaper does USUALLY mean worse, it's not always the case.
I have Ktec coilovers paired with a rear adjustable ARB and it's perfect for me. Quite hard, but it handles very well on the road (I don't go on track), and obviously I can have it a bit lower and I think it looks awesome.
You'll get plenty of people telling you they're crap, but personally...
Guys, it's all well and good saying "Ktec coilovers are s**t", but it would be useful if you explained why, I'm just keen to learn more about what makes a good set of coilovers so I'm interested to know why people think they're crap.
They're on now. I have no idea how to bleed brakes unfortunately. The car stops so it's all good.
It doesn't stop particularly well, but I assume it will take a few hundred miles to bed in properly. Job done, yay!
Ok I did it, I've got the new pads in on the passenger side.
However I've noticed that when I turn the hub it's like it's braking a little bit. It even does this on the side I haven't changed yet.
I turned the ignition on and slowly pressed the brake pedal and it firmed up, but as I say it's...
I've got a few things which I'll keep trying to use. I just don't want to waste my time if it turns out I should be doing something else to make it easier, if that makes sense?
Hi all,
Just sticking some new front pads on, but I can't get the piston to budge so obviously nothing will fit :(
I realise that I might need to undo the cap on the brake fluid resevoir but I'm not sure where this is. Is it the thing down the back of the engine on driver's side (need to...
What do you think is wrong with them out of interest?
Only reason I ask is because I have them, but I have never had coilovers before so whilst I think they are good, obviously my knowledge of what decent coilovers should be like is non existent. Keen to hear your thoughts.
Being literate does not mean you have no life. I do hope that outside of internet forums you actually make an effort with your spelling and grammar.
Also, a typo usually means you've pressed the wrong key by accident. If all of your spelling mistakes genuinely are typos then I can only assume...
I have this exact same problem. It doesn't happen every morning, it seems intermittent. After a few mins the car drives fine. MPG is fine, occasionally the EML comes on for 20 miles or so but usually goes off after a while.
Is it damaging to the car in any way?
Fair enough if you're dyslexic, but is it really that hard to install a spell checker plugin/extension for your browser? I'd seriously suggest it. Whilst some people don't appreciate correct spelling and grammar, the majority of us do. It makes a huge difference to how you are perceived as a...
I also had Sportlines and now have KTR coilovers.
Sportlines were more comfortable, but handling was much the same. KTR coilovers are obviously harder, but I don't find them crashy at all (not exactly sure what that means, but I assume it means you have to fight with the car a bit to keep it on...
