The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Thanks dude. Yeah, I usually 'dodge' the colour part a little, and 'burn' the darker outside bits of the eyes, as well as around the eyelids and stuff, it really makes the eyes pop.

A couple I took of my missus. I'm not sure about the processing on the second one, I know what I was aiming for, but I didn't quite get it right. I think I need to reduce the reds a little, I'll probably have another play with it tonight.

What do you use your Clio for?

I use it to get to places that are too far away to walk, regardless of what day it is.

    Arctic 182 - Stewarton, Scotland - Monday

I was visiting my girlfriend's Mum (with her, obviously) from London, took a walk to the local shops and saw this parked up with a CF bonnet. Anyone on here?

    spacers for turbines

You need to measure the gap between the inside of the arch and the widest part of the top of the wheel. So if it's a 15mm gap, you'd probably be best off with 10mm spacers.

    Laser Wheel Alignment

I don't bloody know!!!! Like I said, I'm not 100% sure, I just remember getting something done in the past and being told that some lights would be on for a while afterwards. It's completely possible I'm getting completely mixed up with another bit of work I had done, but I just thought it was...

Who, Where and What - South East

Re: Who, Where and What Thanks dude, I'm doing some bits to the car at the moment, and I'm planning a MASSIVE detail so will hopefully get some better pictures in the next couple of months. Looking back at the car park ones I realised I made some stupid mistakes, so want to do some better shots :)

    Laser Wheel Alignment

The lights should go off after a while, I'm pretty sure it's normal for them to be on after this, although I haven't had mine done for a while so not sure. I just vaguely remember this happening when I last got mine done. As for the wheel not being straight, yeah, he needs to sort that. I'm...

PIC Request: RB 182 on K tec coilovers

Sorry, late reply, but yes the rear ARB made a massive difference. Turn in was quicker and more precise and it's just awesome around corners. With my KTR coilovers if I take a corner fast I actually get a little bit of oversteer, nothing that you can't control though, the thing just sticks to...

Fancyplates 3/4 front plate and VRS front splitter

Should have got the standard 520mm length, but with 84 (or 90)mm height, it fills the recess perfectly and attracts less unwanted attention. EDIT: Just seen your post above. I agree, 3/4 size plate looks so much better!

Wheel bolt size for use with spacers

Hurrah, finally all ordered. I've gone for FK; 15mm each side front and 8mm each side rear. I measured the standard bolts and they're 24mm, so I've just added 15mm and 8mm for the replacement bolts. Thanks for everyone's help.

Wheel bolt size for use with spacers

I suppose it's only 1.4cm difference, and the rear track is already slightly wider, so shouldn't be too bad. I'm going to order it all tomorrow and hope for the best!

Wheel bolt size for use with spacers

DemonTweeks cost: 30mm front = £82.40 16mm rear = £35.05 He did comment on why I had larger ones at the front, which now I think of it is a bit odd, but it's just from measuring the gap between wheel and arch.

Wheel bolt size for use with spacers

Ok I'll give them a call now, thanks.

Wheel bolt size for use with spacers

I'm looking at the Eibachs on Larkspeed as it says the 10mm ones for the rear are hubcentric (without a centre collar), whereas the FK ones on Venom are not hubcentric it seems. So standard bolt is 24mm or 26mm? I would measure myself but my Jack is at my Mum's house.
