Finally got round to prepping the door for painting. Lightened door carcass.....
V6 door skin ready to bond on.....
Skin bonded on, drying.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, the foam cores for the radiator ducts get their first coat of filler.....
Very pleased with the ducts, I think they will...
I know I said I would have some more body pics this weekend, but they are much the same as before, just with better panel gaps, so here are some of the engine work this week.
Some nice new expensive shiny bits arrived from Roger Clark motorsport, Exedy paddle clutch, sump baffle plate and...
Hi Callum, yeah, steady progress now. Clutch on it's way now I can afford it :dead:!!!! Also uprated oil pump from RCM, so some photos of nice shiny engine when that little job is done. Been finishing the panel fitting, plus blending in the side air scoops, so really close to paint now. I have...
Sorry about the video, will have to get it across onto my phone and try again.
Anyway, there's been a lot going on in the interior, the passenger seat mounting has been finalised. As the seat will only be in for track day passenger rides and the odd bit of road use, and will be removed for...
Just in case you are interested, the dashboard switches are as follows:

Hi guys. OK, small update for you. Most of the stuff I have been doing recently has been a bit mundane, and not really worthy of pictures.
However, I have bought a nice new steering wheel, and had the top of the steering column machined to take the weld on section of the removable boss.
So a...
Hi Dan, as has been said, there is nothing this side of Castle Coombe, Llandow, Hullavington and Keevil.
Have a chat with your people at Culdrose, you may just be able to sweet talk them into letting you use Predannack. We used to use it on the Tour of Cornwall Rally, and Truro MC used to hold...
A bit of amusing banter lifted from the "Uphill Racers" Forum:

A bit of ingenuity next. I kept a biscuit tin from Xmas, as the shape seemed useful. Cut out a full sized...
After christmas I put this biscuit tin to one side. A glimmer of an idea, and it's shape made me think it might be ok as the basis of a dashboard for the Cliopreza. Just cut out a full sized template of the digidash, and dropped it on. Hey presto! Just need to cut a piece of carbon fibre sheet...
Have a look at this photo to see how I have mounted mine on the Cliopreza. Used Aerocatches on the sides, and ordinary bonnet pins at the top, right up through the tailgate and the spoiler. Looks as if I might be able to use Aerocatches at the top, too, which would be neater.
Decided I don't do deadlines any more, LOL! Hoping for March/April to test, first hillclimb is pencilled in for first weekend in May. (Fingers crossed!!!)
It's taken a while to get hold of the tyres I wanted for those lovely wheels, however, they are now shod with some nice sticky 255/40/17 Avon ZZRs, as you can see.
At last those V6 arches are filled properly.
More news soon.
