A New set of leads and coilpack and there was still no change!
So I took the Subaru sounding Clio to my friends garage and we plugged it in, it came up with :
Injector circuit - Cylinder 4 open
So I replaced injector number 4 with a new one and It's running better than ever :)
New leads and plugs however the problem is still there.
I removed the coilpack and it has huge cracks all around it. Inside one of the terminals it's a dark brown colour compared to the other three which look ok.
Is this the issue staring me in the face?
As stated in the title!
I'm thinking the CAT is dead. However after doing some homework I've noticed that misfires can cause the above.
It was serviced a few months ago however the HT leads have never been replaced and it's on 93k now, worth doing?
Has anyone had similar problems?
Thanks :)
There are some real d**k heads out there. I left my work the other day and some scummy f**ker was sat perched on my bonnet smoking, after raging at him I went over to look at the bonnet and he had scratched the s**t out of it with most likely something in his back pocket.
Hope yours isn't too...
Spoke to Admiral today, when I say Admiral I mean every person on every department as I don't think know one wanted to deal with me.
I basically said that the £1794.49 was an absolute joke and why is it only now you hit me with this? After explaining my case (Which yes it wasn't a strong one...
I've just done a comparison quote with the accident undeclared and accident declared and the difference is £110 annually, which yes is better than £1700+ but still it's a £110 for some bloke driving into my car that I practically watched from the house whilst having a cup of tea.
Admiral have always been brilliant up until now, so if I can resolve it tomorrow then I will stay with them if not I'l look elsewhere.
Yes I pay monthly.
They knew up until I sold my 172 in July 2011 about the incident, a few months later I got my new car In September and I did an online quote with Admiral and didn't even think to tick the box of being involved in an accident regardless of fault. So yes I can see why I've been hit with this I can...
Just received a letter today from Admiral saying that I didn't mention the "accident" I had 2 years ago, as they have only just found out that the information differs to what was said in a phone call, as a result of this a change of balance of £1794.49 is due which has been distributed over the...
Looks brilliant that. Do you mind me asking how much it cost? Mines currently black and someone has done a rattle can job on it, no deep scratches on it though.
Yeah there's another one on Autotrader for over 4k. 100% was on there yesterday as I messaged a friend about it who was looking for a 182. Got a steal there
