So I'm so to put another amp in, and i have 2 possibilities to where it goes.
It is to power the front and rear speakers.
I could put it under the passenger seat, thinking I wont need so much speaker wire....
Or I think i prefer mounting it in the boot, as then I will split my main...
So i'm putting the front speakers in the back, and new components where the originals are. Amping them all through an FLI Underground 4channel amp.
Just wondering whether it will be ok to mount the amp on the back, or top of, the sub box??? I'm just wary of the fact that it may get quite warm...
If i mount my amp like this: (sorry, My laptop doesnt have paint... how!?!?)
Sub box

With the red being the amp....
Will it get enough ventilation to not over heat???
Cheers
ooh yes! forgot about that.... i'm thinking I may go to the boot though, as then I dont have to cut my existing power cable at all, and not risk it then being too short..(!) If i need to get more speaker wire then i can i guess... :L
well considering you have 500+ fb likes.... ask on there who would buy one!? and also on here! Perhaps by approaching the right people it can help boost your rep? I honestly havent a clue what i'm talking about but... yeah just ideas popping out my head! :L
OK, So, I've bought an amp, and some new components to put into the car. got a sub with it's own amp in the boot already. I have everything I need, so dont go slagging off the equipment, i'm on a budget and tbh, if they are the same quality, but a little better than the sptandard speakers, i'm...
^^ i imagine this is the case.... although if you had a spare mk2 lying around... and a spare mk3 dash... i'd say try it for size. If it's roughly there, then see what can be done to modify it, whether it be cutting away material, or adding some. Either way it will probs need...
Every service includes a bottle of fuel additive anyway. I believe it is injector cleaner stuff. i've never actually looked at the bottle to be honest when i put it in. so theres not really much need to buy extra....
Yeah, well i know i have a lot to learn! although as a newer driver i do often feel a lot more aware of some of the mistakes i make than other road users seem to be!
KNows it! ^ ^ it is this. You can get a slightly better look at it if you take the top dash off.... but i dont think there's anything you can do other that lengthen them, which is a fair amount of effort and would almost definitely require removing top dash.... unless you have tiny hands.?
Yes Dan, reading that back to myself now, I realise how much of a child I sounded like! The novelty is slowly starting to wear off now... (approaching 1 year) hopefully parents will buy me a caterham experience day for my 18th.... Then I can drive a proper car!
So I have on order an FLI Underground 4 channel amp, and have sitting here at home the FLI Underground Comp 5 Component speakers... I've got some speaker wire on order anyway as I am going to put the old front speakers into the rear as it's a POV spec clio! :/ :L
I know its a bit of a PITA...
I love country roads... they're far more interesting.... and if its dark you can always see if something is coming, and the trees that are close either side make it feel faster, so you dont have to drive so fast. I always find new ones interesting.... but yeah ok they are pretty crap if you meet...
this is the one... i think i've put it across right, but wanna make sure we're talking about the same lens!! :)
would i be better off getting a 10-20 then?
Hey folks! just after a little bit of advice really,
My current gear =
Canon 550D Body,
18-55 IS Kit lens
75-300 EF-S Lens
I'm thinking I'd like another lens, although not sure what to go for.... I like the idea of having a 10-20, as that would extend the range i can shoot, although I've...
Hey folks, i have an issue with my lumbar support which I presume may be quite common.
I have sourced the issue to be the end of the cable coming free, so rotating the spool on the side just winds the cable up etc. Is there an easy way to fix this? Cheers for any help!
yeah i have the plate in the rear bumper... didnt like at first, but have grown to prefer it! :L also, got a link for the indicator bulbs? how much were they? cheers :)
Hey folks, I recently purchased an N64, and becuase I dont have an aerial in my room I dont have a TV in there... However I do have a spare PC monitor.
So i'm trying to connect the yellow socket from the av cable, and i have a converter cable i bought which has the female yellow socket, that...
I don't see why any parts from other models won't fit. All clios have the same shell (obviousely ph1 and 2 are slightly different at the front) so an RS Grille should fit... maybe give it another go, or take the original off, and compare it with the RS next to each other to be able to see any...
