Yeah I remember seeing that, why didn't they make them in white from factory??
May as well try it if you have some spare :) I know what you mean about the recess though :/
Yeah there's quite a few cars that have that effect, looks good!
Yeah, me and Banther did think matte at first so it's...
Ooh right. I didn't realise that.
Hmm possibly, I guess there's only one way to really tell.
Never seen those before. I wonder if anyone still has a template for them.
I'll have to have a search and see if I can find any more pictures. Good idea but I won't be wrapping the spats though mate.
Thanks mate.
Think I'll get the diffuser done after the bad weather and try out the door pillars at the same time.
Gonna leave the carbon spats on though.
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
I don't want it to snow! :p
Yeah it's no where near as loud as my old K&N one though.
Not had a remap on mine mate. Want to get the 98 RON map at some point though.
I wasn't planning to do it myself but every time I look at the photo it becomes more and more tempting :p
Thanks mate, I've been looking at gloss black for the diffuser so could just use the same stuff to match
No worries mate, thanks for looking anyway :)
Thanks matey :)
No that's...
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Shame about the spacers mate, the willy wheels must be a lot wider than Turini's.
Got the same air filter as me ;)
Also liking the BG mirror caps! :)
Ooh yeah if you don't mind mate :)
Hmm those bits are carbon near the rear wheels. May look a bit OTT if that was carbon as well.
Could try both though I suppose. Like Rob said, it's quite cheap for wrap :)
Yeah so it blends in with the windows a bit better.
All I've got atm is some carbon vinyl. Could give it a go I guess. Or just buy some cheap matte black off eBay.
Just been playing around with a few photos and I thought of doing this after seeing my Dad's old Fiesta had black door pillars.
I think it'd suit tinted windows better but not going to have that done, especially since I spent hours removing them lol!
What do you think?
I doubt I'll actually...
Definitely come off. I couldn't tell you if they're plastic or metal though. I remember seeing someone on here who'd replaced them with carbon fibre inserts.
Any idea which ones you're going for? And thanks mate, do you have a project thread for yours?
They should look good that colour! :)
I'm swapping my Turini's for some Renault Storms during the winter so they don't get wrecked :p
Ah right okay.
I currently have Turini's on the Inferno. The 16mm spacers sit well on the front but I can't get away with them on the rear as it's too low and would scrub like mad!
I ran these on my old non sport and have swapped then over to the 182.
Never had any problems and I use the car almost everyday.
Never thought about bout upgrading to a stud conversion. Is there any point on a road car?
