Mine makes power to 7500rpm, and it was ARP rod bolts but I still tend to change 7200rpm at the most unless its a long corner and I need a few more revs etc

If the polish residue is hard to get off my guess is the panels were overheating, either through polishing or the direct sunlight
I saw a ~1955 Mercedes 190 SL on a quiet backstreet in Chiang Mai.
It was dusty and a little tired looking but in tact nonetheless. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it!
How are you judging the drop in protection?
It will bead less over time but does it act like completely bare paint when clean? If it doesn't then there is some protection there
Only read the OP, but to me it sounds like he's just slating other products for personal gain. A cleanser isn't a touch less product, but IX, tardis etc is, so unless you're a r****d who dives straight it with clay he isn't right imo.
Well, Tbf I'm making that comment based on AD08s after 7-10 track days but otherwise in good condition.
Also, Trophy used to roll over advers camber.
New changes to fix that though and I'll be back next year.
