    Wax for Blackgold 182

Do tell! Or did it just not live up to the Second Coming levels of hype?

Essentially yeah, But seeing as how Shield is generally regarded as being not too behind BOS for looks, a Shield with better looks is win-win for me. I really wanted to buy that sample but I'm on holiday next week, probably much better spent there than on more wax I don't need :|

Speaking of Carnauba QDs, I have some Werkstat Glos in the garage. I've never used it, but you're welcome to try some. As Gally says though, D&D is immense. (and the smell is..arousing!) ''Here ae the official specs on the wax. The price is 3499.- (norwegian kroner) witch is aprox 350£ •...

Go for it. It might make the BOS oils a little more rain-proof :)

Interesting. I found it to be the other way round, Illusion seemed fussier to remove and didn't respond to well to a deep pile MF. I had to remove with a short pile. Nice! Is Interlargos Blue a metallic or flat colour? I was going to suggest Bouncers Vanilla Ice topped with Z8, now that does...

@JD When you had your Hydro2 incident, was it a freshly diluted or had it been mixed a while ago? Yesterday I got some 'blotches' on the roof. They buffed out with QD but its the first problem I've ever had with H2. The only thing I could think of is the solution was made a few months ago :/

Tbh it's only good for blowing air out of small crevices. On a protected car I find that on big panels it just breaks the water down into lots more smaller beads. It does work, but it's less effective than you might imagine. Open house douse does the vast majority of my drying

This tbh. Over 5 years ago my Clio cost me £6800 So for the same budge I could now have a mega turbo Clio. Just be sure it's what you want.

    Exhaust carbon...

The inward rolled tip is starting to pit on mine as well. No amount of polishing will undo that :( Still looks shiny from a few feet away though.

Be aware of heat build up, it won't dissipate like it does on a metal panel.
