I'm still finding that the Music app and iTunes Match can't really cope with large libraries. I thinned it down to 90GB but it still freezes and pauses :(

Must surely be a mount issue. If they're not knackered, Try loosening the mounting bolts and pushing the engine towards the firewall before re-tightening.
