Probably ought to write something here rather than everyone speculate over it.
I have messaged Sash re the AirPods. These were genuine AirPods. I would like to say that I completely agree with what Marc B is saying re the fakes and the accuracy of them, but as mentioned they are quickly blocked...
Hi @mariolo,
I’m really sorry, my 3D printing guy has totally gone off grid, athough I have some of the files I won’t be able to do anything with any of it until lockdown lifts. It’s always on my mind so I will try and get this resolved ASAP for all of you but it’s how long is a piece of string...
Right chaps, so thought I better give you an update, I am still looking to get this done but covid is still playing havoc with the company that is doing the 3D designs. It looks like he’s juggling the business on his own, so it’s quite difficult to get an appointment with him.
Nevertheless I am...
Yes that equally likely, sorry I forgot to mention the clutch, it operates is the same way as the brake switch, it may even be the same part but can’t remember, but if you are replacing one you might aswell do both.
when you first start the car does cruise pop up? And if so what happens when...
This will more than likely be the brake pedal switch, which deactivates cruise and also illuminates the brake lights when pressed. They are a common fault on most Clio’s but luckily can be swapped out in a couple of minutes for less than £10.
It could also be that the brake pedal switch has...
Do you mean on the mk2?
its 5.8” If I remembered correctly, it’s quite an awkward screen size to find without spending serious money and that’s before you’ve even thought about touch screen options.
I took the 3D scans so that I could modify the original housing to accommodate a larger screen...
Upper Dash Trim/Housingall of the trim behind that which holds the screen together, including the panel and all of the buttons to go along with it.
Each and every part of the factory satnav has been scanned.
So.... I have had everything (including the buttons and back housing) 3D scanned.
I only need to get the trim that attaches to the ‘top part’ of the dash scanned.
Have you an idea on how much you would spend? I’m probably £400 in so far on modelling/3D scanning, so I need to have enough people...
Pretty sure this one isn’t on the forum.
I work in Cirencester and it’s either parked up round the back of Waitrose (Phoenix way) or round the front of St James Wealth.
Never seen it on the move so I assume they live in Cirencester.
Ahh good'o, umm I can think of 10 of the top of my head locally, there are more clio sports around but they aren't forum members from what I gather.
You didn't pick it up off Paul did you? I don't think he has sold his however you never know how long he's going to keep ahold of his cars...

Ahh nice, small upgrades that make a large difference.
Sounds like a good idea to me, the colour coding will look nice once done, good luck :)

Lol twice in one day iv'e spoken to you now :D
Ha 'lovely dealer' goes for every showroom/garage down bristol road, each one as dodgy and corrupt as the other!
They look the part and finish the interior off nicely, however I miss my RenaultSport seats! Those things were the most comfy seats ever, like the lazyboys, but of the car world.
You could do a 4 hour journey and it would feel like a 30 minute drive and well the recaro's make a 4 hour journey...
Ha they are shite lol :rasp:
Use the renault ones off of the normal seats, I will eventually get round to doing that; however as you have to remove the seats to replace them I think that this might be something to do in the distant future.
