Satstistically online they say 10bhp gain from tests, so i'm going on stats, the '+' was referring to possibilities of gaining more as VPower you would benefit further on a turbo'd engine.
It might not be a gain but more a what the car should run at, original bhp tests when cars are...
It will, but only because they water down the supermarket fuel.
Shells normal FuelSave is the standard and is what the stuff from tesco etc. should be like.
Sort of, however you could have gotten more if you had serviced it ;) think of all of the money you could have saved from just replacing...
£53-60 it depends how long I ignore the petrol light :D
If im straight up with you it won't do feck all on a 1.2 mate, 1-2bhp if your lucky ;)
However your 182 it will give better performance increases and better mpg :) Iv'e started using Shell's V Power, definitely better and have monitored...
No he said engine component's and he was adamant on it :S
I'm pretty sure (if you use the inlet as an example) that they are made from a mixture of steel and aluminium..... however I could be wrong :o
Ok here we go,
Yesterday I was talking to my mate who is the manager at the garage I have my car serviced at.
As it was been serviced as expected he asked what was next on the 'to do list' and explained to him that I was intending to spray the inlet and so on.
He said to me have you looked...
Cheers mate :)
Haha, well the chaps who did the servicing on my car are ex-renault mechanics, hence the staff discount, the rest of them are originally saab employees ;)
Servicing day :D
Got all of my parts ready to give the car a proper overhall,
•Elf Evolution SXR 5W-40 Engine Oil (5 Litre)
•Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80 Gearbox Oil (5 Litre)
•Renault Type D Collant/AntiFreeze (5 Litre)
•RenualtSport Oil Filter (with Sump washer)
•Wynn's Engine Flush
•New Engine...
Haven't updated this in a little while so I thought I would as I managed to get a few things done this weekend :)
Managed to get the boot handle off today as it was annoying me how much dirt could be behind it ;)
It was also a worthwhile job as I had purchased a new renault badge to replace...
Plastic clips?
It's no different to a 1.2 mate, similar biting point , just a heavier clutch.
You must drive it like a nutter, I get 52mpg average in my 1.2 :D
Ahh so your only down the road :)
Yeah, I would rather just write it off if i did mind, otherwise you will pay out your nose on how much the car is worth just in the first month :D
They are actually quite practical, obviously you will experience your fair share of electrical problems like you will have has with the 1.2 ;)...
I haven't bought them yet, however i think its a no brainer and I will be going for the standard uprated ones (black).
Thinking about it the red ones may be to stiff and may end up doing more damage to the engine and gearbox seen as you will be applying it to factory components, its aimed at...
I asked the very same question and this was the response from KTEC themselves, hope this helps :)
These mounts can be used on a Day to Day car, however, they are very stiff and will add a lot of cabin vibration and resonnance from the engine. Some people will find this to loud. The uprated...
Yeah i've just done the same move as you then :)
Very heavy up front and doesn't feel as "wobbly" as the 1.2 :D very solid car and nice to drive :)
Would recommend a RS tuner map mate as i'm averaging 33mpg atm :D it's suppose to take that up to 45-50 :)
I'm 19 with 1 Years NCB and iv'e just...
Ahh then yeah bargain mate :)
Haha yeah good old renault exhausts :D I just love the fact they finish the tips in Stainless steel, the icing on the top ;)
Best hot hatch money can buy for excitement and noise :)
Sounds like a good deal especially one at 46k :)
I'm not 100% on this but i believe that cam belts services on the RS clios are around £500-600 depending on where you got it done due to complexity :)
The average change is either between 50k-60k or every 5 years dependent on which comes first...
