This is why people can "push" into spaces that arnt there.
Because its up to the guy behind to see them and reduce speed, if they dont and they hit them from behind that's their problem as they were not paying attention
Well, As i have said before, Lots of people saying there is good gains and then just as many to say there are none.
Mine are on the way so will be able to say if there is any gains when i get it on a dyno to see.
Yes if it's not got one.
but if you haven't got one I would personally get some matched inlets as you will see a nice 10+ gain going from non rs inlets to matched.
my car being wrapped.
the people who did it were crap.
Plastidip is Crap... I had mine done before the wrap. Ruined the paint when removed. and bubbled in placed.
The problem I have is that there are posts on this forum and Facebook saying that it does help and a good gain is shown in the mid range.
then you get people saying that it's all bull.
so I'm stuck in the situation where I don't know what to do.
one hand I could buy them, dyno it and find...
Ok.
well they don't cost that much tbh, and I will have a spare bit of cash next month.
from what I have been able to dig up on the forum it's more mid range improvements.
I have also fitted a decat before I went on holiday so I'm hoping the matched inlets and decat will see some nice results...
I'm going to be buying a set of cnc matched inlets for the 172.
I'm wondering if there are any proven gains with them? I'm more intrested at mid range and torque, I neve reallyr rev the car past 6000 rpm so top end numbers are not that intresting for me.
Would they be a worth while expense...
Nope it just sucks bhp.
but the ft torque is 158 and is 135 up to 158 right from 2k.
That's a generic map on their too, efi is going to have a look for me.
Yea it' costly, but that new rs2 is £649 plus £45 for the coil pack moun. So around £700.
Which makes this chaps £150 more for a version that's fully made from metal.
