Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
I have cut the fibre glass on my bonnet so now when it shuts it doesn't rub at all.
Also does your rear screen cover the wiper bit? As I don't have a wiper
Looks good, jelous that you've finished you car and got it on track, mines not finished yet and befor I know it the summer will be over!
So do you have anything to change or is it just a case of just booking the next trackday?
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I don't think any particular person makes a stronger or weaker CF splitter. If it's just scratched it then wet and dry sand it and buff it up with your da. Worked a treat on my splitter
Mick that does make sense. I will have another think about what to do.
I think I have all the Info I need now so I will buy the parts I need next week :)
Thanks guys
Why should I be running the fuel line outside the car? My thoughts on running it inside the car were that it could never be caught and ripped. If I was to run a full braided line from the tank to the rail then that would be stronger and better than running half a plastic and half braided line...
Fred I'm doing mainly because I want it to be stronger (car will be raced in the future) but it will also look nicer. I don't really want to Bodge it and have joins, I was also thinking of running the fuel line inside the car. I still need to measurements to see exactly how much I need.
I spoke...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Those tyres look good, hopefully they won't have side Walls made out of cheese like the spec-2's (I'm too use to R888' steel sidewall)
The fuel hose I will be getting is not rubber it's a sort of plastic iirc, and it has braided hose over the top to make it hard wearing etc. Still quite expensive but should add a bit of bling to the engine bay with anodised bits.
