Been running the car since monday night with engine management light on....and today it decided to go off....why I do not know. haha. Good times.

Patience now, lol, never got a fitting kit so I've been waiting for that to turn up, decided to wait until saturday so I can use my mates hydraulic ramps and make the job easier... don't worry once it's on I'll want to show it off so there will be pictures and possibly video. Adam

Fixed, absolutely baffled, took everything off again, gasket seemed fine, wiped it down, put everything back together as I did last time, started it...works fine, engine management still on but presume it will have stored the fault and need reset? but it's fixed itself. lol

Also thanks for the other advice I'll fit it and leave the second sensor out but still connected and if I get a light on as said I can easy take it off and weld another boss in. Thanks for the advice, Adam

Really? so if the second one isn't connected it won't bring a fault code up or something daft? That's the best news i've had all day! what do you think of yours...loud? I'm expecting so. haha

Ok so no need to replace the gasket. Im sure I haven't but I will double check. Thanks for the help. Adam

Hi, I purchased a Group A Oreca Exhaust the other day with a de-cat pipe and noticed that on my original exhaust has 2 sensors but this only has the one on the de-cat pipe. I wondered what people do with the other sensor when running a de-cat and if it will cause any other problems...

Hi, I changed the spark plugs today and wasn't aware at the time that your supposedly meant to change the gasket on the under-side of the inlet, so i started the car and it started to idle at about 2k, the light under the fuel (which looks like a heart-rate monitor) and my engine management...

Hi, great time of year for it to happen but my whole heating unit and CD player and clock/temperature gauge has stopped working, the lights on the A/C and CD player are still on but none off the buttons work and the heating doesn't work at all! Its sooo annoying because i can't use the car now...

Cheers mate, I'm happy with the car, I mean yes people the ariel and side lights could be changed but I've only had the car 2 weeks and they are minor details which can be changed as and when, it's not like it's a major let down on the car. As for how low it is, if I wanted it to handle...

cheers for all the comments guys, it's on coilovers yes, they are wound down all the way on the back and just enough to make it usable on the front, not sure what coilovers they are I bought it with them on and haven't found out yet, I like the way it sits but wanting 2118's instead of the 182...

Only had this 172 5days but as with any car I own it's been through the cleaning stage, I'll get some better pictures once I'm happy with it, for now its just been clayed polished and waxed, and tyre shined :)
