I serviced the 182 tonight which is the first time I have actually serviced it myself. It had the major service done last March when it was on 81799, so althought this was now 16 months ago, it has only covered 3519 miles. I will be doing a lot less than this each year now, but will make sure it...
I know they have a code for free delivery.
Everywhere has different prices, its frustrating why there is such a difference. I have found a company called Vospers who were cheaper than renaultparts even with their free deliver for oil and air filter, yet the shocks are cheaper from renaultparts...
I get your point, but It has had many miles and memories made in it already over the 9 years i have owned it. 1k miles a month commute to then leave stood in a public car park is more of a shame to me.
It has been ages since I updated the thread so thought I would bring it up to date....
Back in October last year I decided to stop using the 182 completely (bought the dci above for daily use) to keep the miles down, as my intention is to never sell it. The past few years I have only been doing...
I can buy a new alternator from Renault. They are £180 so thats OK. I just need to find someone who can come and help me fit it. Its still sat on the drive...
Evening all,
The stop and battery light have been on my 182 for a while now. I put a new battery on a couple weeks ago hoping that would be the issue, which it wasnt. I dont use the 182 as a daily anymore so havnt drove it much sine the new battery went on.
It has been starting fine without...
Been trying to decide for weeks what machine to buy. The more i read the more i feel confused.
I was set on a das21e but have been told now that a das6pro might be the better option!?!?
Also how do i pick the pads and compounds etc!?!? Ha
I was looking at clean your car as they do kits...
Any of ypu use this machine?
I have been recomended to get this over the DAS6 pro and wanted to hear thought from more of you who have used this machine and what your thoughts are?
This will be my first machine.
Halfords will not price match. Gorms you are very lucky you got them. I rang and they said every store has had a notification sent saying to NOT to price match.
I will post the notification as the guy at Halfords emailed a picture to me.
I need to replace the rear wheel bearing on my dci and know it can be a struggle removing the drum without a tool.
I dont know what tool is needed. Can anyone help?
My local motor factors have this in. Do you think this will be up to the job?
Thanks

I bought a 2004 dci 65 at the end of October and have already done 2k miles. I bought it to keep the miles off my 182. Currently averraging 62ish mpg. Can get 70 if driving very careful and not frequently going into low gears.
They do have issues, injectors being the main one. However, from...
The 182 has been replaced with Dci 65...
Due to a change in circumstances and needing to use my own car for work I needed something that would be cost effective. Im travelling 50 miles dail and sometimes more so it isnt practical to use renaultsport for this IMO.
I had been looking for weeks...
Take the spoiler off mate! Just done mine tonight and it is silly not to remove it. Also the underneath of mine was filthy and wet in places so i gave it a good clean and recovered the wires in tape.
