Hi Matt,
Service book was on ebay, and still is under item number 331795040773
Surprised there is only space for 12 stamps in a service book. Renault must of thought they would all brake before someone managed to service them 12 times, ha.
And can anyone confirm if any 75 80 will be fine or does it have to be a specific type?
@Mavez i can only see elf nfj but you said trj. Is it the same thing?
When I had the major service done Mick mentioned the exhaust had a really bad blow at the rear. On further investigation this was only due to a gasket at the flanges so not a major issue.
I had the full exhaust cust made 5-6 years ago at AAS in Newcastle so I rang to ask about a spare gasket as...
Does anyone have a guide with this, pictures would be a massive help. Is it an easy job to do on the driveway?
Also, can anyone please confirm the correct grade of oil needed for a 2004 1.2 16v clio mk2?
How many lites does the 1.2 take?
You have done a brilliant job already on this Andy. This colour really is my favourite colour for a 182. Nice to see you are goong to have enjoyment on the track but also take good care of it at the same time.
Keep the updates coming.
Anthracite / dark grey will be what i do them in. I dont want them to stand out at all, i just want rid of the orange rust.
Thanks mate. They look worse than my old brakes which had been on for 5-6 years!
Thats great if you are competent enough to know what your doing. I would never do that, but oil and filter changes im comfortable to do now.
I always keep invoices for everything. I have a file full.
Following on from the above post and having the major service done, I noticed my service book now has 10 stamps, leaving just 2 left for future services.
I spoke with Renault who have confirmed the original service books are no longer available. Although, luckily I have managed to find a brand...
Also, this may be of some use to others...
Last week i had the major service done by diamond motors and realised i now only have 2 spaces left for stamps in the original service book. I have had a look on ebay and found a seller who has some blank standard service books. They are £20, but...
Those of us who have owned for 8+ years or since new years and are 1st or 2nd owner dont look at them like a 1.5k clio. So i respectfully disagree with your comment as I know my clio is not the same as one of the ebay 1.5k specials which has had 8+ owners and on over 100k miles on the clock.
I...
Following on from the major service update above, Mick has kindly sent over some pictures he took from before and after the belt change.

I have done that onthe other halfs clio. I think im going to get a stamp made up also like mentioned above. I think it will make things look that little bit more profesional. I have a hige file with every invoice in since day one.
All that being said, im never selling the car anyway, so its...
After recently teaching myself how to do an oil and filter change on the other halfs 1.2 clio and realising just how easy it is, combined with how much money can be saved by doing it myself it has got me thinking about self servicing the 182from now on.
I have always been a strong believer in...
On Wednesday last week I drove 150 miles down to Nottingham to leave the car with Mick at Diamond Renault Specialists Ltd for the major service.
The last major service was done at 49k in March 2011.
I left the car to have the following completed;
- Cambelt full kit
- Aux belt full kit
-...
