eh? ball joint attaches to the hub, wishbone (large bush either side) attaches to subframe
the ball joint doesn't "pop out"
the ball joint is held into the hub with a pinch bolt, unbolt ball joint from wishbone, then remove pinch bolt then use a ball joint fork splitter to remove

air filter exhaust and remap might see you gain 10bhp max (if you're lucky) and that lot will cost £1K for good stuff
I run mine everyday when i can, they're not bad on fuel TBH, on a motorway run it'll do 35mpg, track however 5mpg (you can empty the tank in just over 2hours if you try LOL!)
i don't get some V6 (and "special car") owners though, what's the point in having something cool but only doing...
well you cannot rev safely past 7800rpm and in a hot climate you have to run an oil cooler with a decent 10W50 or 60 oil, change the rod bolts to ARP and you'll be fine
