Renault should really know that too to be fair! Why they even list TRW as an option i have no idea!! The common sense thing to do for the parts guy would be to order both and then send back the wrong ones - muppet
imagine carrying all your shopping on 1 arm, silly idea right? same idea with corner weighting basically, you "balance" the car so all 4 corners get their fair share (its a bit more complicated than that, but that'll do!)
in the uk the stock offset it ET48.5 on the 16inch 172 phs2
on the 172 cup they went to ET38.5 (so 20mm wider overall)
and on the 182's they went to ET45
Not with you on that, the rubber damp'd pullies are no good IMO for high rpm (over 8500) which I think an f4r needs to be up above in order to make 270
If it works then fair play, I'll bare my arse in public! I just don't get why if its such a fancy engine/company, how is the belt tensioner 180deg out? I bet it was built by a ford lover
your argument is both strange and odd, if the genuine renault filter for the F4R engine was no good then surely every single F4R engine in existence would've gone bang by now?
and FYI the diesel engines use the same oil pump as the F4 ;)
