I had this issue with a Heli pilot in BF4, he was amazingly skillful, so granted that takes work, but the auto repair saved him a lot. He finished 138-2. I mean WTF.
Well in BMW 328's the same unit makes 270bhp and not the 230bhp as the JCW does. Even they aren't that revvy. I think its more the engine sadly. :(.
You can map them to 270bhp but that'll no doubt make it far worse!
Granted its greasy at the moment but traction control on at half throttle in 3rd is a bit annoying atm. Plus it makes peak torque at 2500rpm. So its always there.
Much like the old 1.8 Turbo TT's it feels like its all done at 5k rpm. I'd much like it to be revvy like the N18 engine.
Its very much a double edged sword. I get £800 a month from work for my car, so after tax thats like £450. I get on average £450 a month for fuel from work too.
So my total car based costs are £1400 a month, after taking off the money work pay me, it costs me £500. Which personally I feel isn't...
@Sir_Dave
I've just worked this out for the RS3 after 12 months.
12 months - 25000 miles.
Depreciation - £12000
Fuel - £4000
Service - £300
Insurance - £500
Tyres - £300
Tax - £200
Total 17300
17300/25000 = £0.69 a mile. (So cheaper per mile that Daves M135i.....)
My mileage saves me...
I know. Although last night I got randomly put into a great squad. Me and the leader just rocked around in a tank for 3 straight games. Highest scores I've ever had. Turns out I'm a great support gunner!
I would really really love a GP 2. Sadly company funded cars need to have 2+ seats. Otherwise I'd be in one.
I'm miss my GP1 so much! Probably the only car I've had that I'd buy back!
@Sir_Dave
Work have changed their car policy to allow 2 door hatch backs...
So I've spec'd up a JCW in my full work spec, eg all toys. Comes out at £421 a month. If I swapped the RS3 for it, I'd save £520 a month in payments and fuel. Thats ALOT.
Floor mats - £65
Seat heating - £215
Front and rear parking sensors - £590
Rain sensor - 90
Climate control - 325
Visual boost radio - 300
Total - £1585
It was cheaper than the Works chilli pack and she got the random things she wanted. Plus no gash black and silver wheels.
Total discount...
The offers are really good.
Ours was £400 deposit and £300 a month with a few options.
I want to put KW's and 1.2's on it but it's for the Mrs....
The map for 280bhp is only the standard BMW 328i map so it's only £300.
