Been a while since my last post car is very nearly done now got the following left to do.
1) Get some 12mm bore fuel pipe,
2) Sort engine earths out,
3) Replace starter,
4) Tidy wire routing up (will do once running)
5) Spray bonnet (will do once running).

I am after a bit of a advice doing a 172 conversion into my R5 using all the 172 bits and apparently my ECU is demobilised.
Now I have wired it all up and attempted to crank to find that there is no crank??
I know the ECU is getting power and everything else is getting power, what effect does...
To get the tomcat to fit the GTT lump you will need to rotate the core so the oil feed in is at the top you will need to rotate the compressor housing you will need to drill and tap the rear of the compressor housing as the actuator will need to be moved, Drill the 2 x bottom holes out on the ex...
Nothing wrong with the c1j out of the r5 gtt cheap to repair and modify they just need to be looked after majority of problems are down to bad fueling people sticking in a bleed valve and turning up the boost without matching the fueling
I am in need of knowing what the fuel pump relay pins are on the 172 for example on the R5 GTT
pin 1: fat white = to fuel pump
pin 2: black = earth
pin 3: brown = tach input from AEI
pin 4: not connected
pin 5: yellow = ignition live
pin 6: fat red = battery live

R5 16v fibreglass bonnet added not to my taste but it is serving a purpose (Still needs spraying not @ the top of my list of priorities at the moment though)
Ditch the group a carb matey get wideband and fettle a standard carb instead.
If you need any GTT parts I have loads let me know or if you want any advice.
Ok I am doing a little coversion with a 172 lump and am wondering what this is for ? As I do not have one for my conversion and is it needed?
