The cam belt I am using is a 77 00 113 559 TIMING BELT but my dialogys also list a belt under ref 82 00 098 343 BELT which is also a cambelt.
There are no different options for the pulley I need
& more pulley is stamped 77 00 108 626 which is the same as my dialogys.
OK looks like i need...
I am runnung a phase 2 engine but converted to run phase 1 cable throttle body, etc..
The pulleys I replaced them with where exactly the same I wish I had kept the old ones now I just chucked them away :(
When you say spin is it supposed to spin when the cam belt is all tightend up??
I am thinking I have used the incorrect spacer and bolt these are the only parts I also didn't replace with new:(
Well had a recent problem with my R5 engined 172 which turned out to be timing related so i got a new cam kit and hired the tools to do the job. Now I started the car for the 1st time tonight and let it idle for 30 mins when all of a sudden a strange noise and I discovered that the cam belt had...
As per title I am going through my Dialogys and am unable to locate the part number for the idle control valve.
If anyone could please advise the part number and poundage of it
Many thanks James
Well not much of an update as needing to sort the cam timing out, just forgot to mention no longer using the alloy Volvo alloy fuel rail due to now using the small stanrard 172 standard injectors and my modified phase 2 rail for an external FPR.
Found that the phase 1 172 loom had a split in the earth wire repaired it and then turned the key and she fired straight up only prob now is that the cam tensioner has come loose.
Anyone got the cam timing tools for hire or local to borrow?
That does sound like a good idea but to be honest I am going to need to change then for some 14.5 high impodence jobbies now as I only found out yesterday that they were low impodence.:( I should have looked further into their spec
No - But will check tomoz to make sure
I do defo think it is the injectors that have failed for the following reason the 172 standard Injectors I believe are Pico 250cc min @ 3bar 14.5 ohms (High Impedance). Now because I have used a modified alloy fuel rail from another car (Volvo Turbo) the...
Further update, had a 15 min play tonight to do some quick tests and tidy things up a bit and I found the following-
Fuel pressure to fuel rail 3.0bar,
4 x Engine earths to metal,
Sparkies are firing with very good spark,
I then decided to take the fuel rail of tonight to make sure the...
