    Not certain but I'd imagine a slotted strut is one that has a slotted hole so you can adjust camber without the need for fancy bolts.

    Definitely go and speak to them but don't go in all guns blazing because that puts you in the arsehole customer category straight away. If you are nice to them you can expect them to do the same.

    Hardest part is getting the doorcard off without snapping anything, beyond that it's just a couple of nuts iirc.

    Don't go back to a standard wheel you'll feel like you're driving a double decker bus in comparison to the OMP.

    182 xenons on a non-sport?

    You will need to swap the adjuster/leveller as the non sports use a manual one as opposed to the auto level on the sports. They're basically the same part but iirc it's a different shaped plug.

    You will need someone to help you with it for a start. It's one of the biggest PITA jobs on a 172.

    I guess it just comes with age, my old box did this but my new one doesn't. It's nothing to worry about if you do what's been said it shouldn't crunch.

    You'd need to remove the wheel well for starters.
