Got to grow up and buy a house dude….the V6 may follow but hopefully not.
No worries dude, I'll definitely be up that way again at some point, loved it!
Not that I know of, but I just got lost for a few hours then put the postcode of where I was staying in and headed there, so could have...
Was up north this weekend for a family thing, and decided to take the V6 since I've now sold the M3.
Total of 596 miles averaging 25.1mpg overall which wasn't too bad.
Route was:
Derby to Carlisle.
Carlisle to Ambleside via a 160 mile detour finding some awesome roads
Ambleside to Carlisle...
Hold on a minute, so you px'd a car with a lot of problems, and are now moaning that your current car is a bag of nails? Did you make him fully aware of all the problems on yours?!?!
Thanks, won't know then roads so won't be setting any records, just a good excuse to get away from the family and have some chill time to be honest.
Are you local to there then dude?
Thanks mate, do you have any postcodes I can aim for?!?!
I'm up in the lakes this weekend for a family thing but fancy doing a few epic routes through there for some fun, anyone got any hints? Think I'm going to take the V6 over the M3, mainly for the noise and it looks better in pictures!
That would be epic without those wheels, the colour, stickers and being 15's ruin it for me :(
More pics of the V6 and less of these common clios please!
I'll be up your way mid september if you fancy a quick meet, I need someone with an actual camera to take some pictures of mine!
Not to hijack the thread but finally got my proper wheels back on, it looks like yours before a holiday tan:
You just need some cool brakes to finish it off!
Glad you're keeping it mate, as good as the Meganes are, they are nothing compared to an M3.
I actually think I'll be selling my V6 Clio when I buy a house and keeping the E46.
Ktecs LY with 900 miles was up for £40k…..so although this sin't as rare I'd say it's worth another 7k, a lot of people starting to get interested in V6's.
I could understand maybe an extra £50/60 as that's quite easy to knock off, but to know 30% off the renewal quote straight away just stinks of s**t to me. How do they explain being able to give such a big discount just because someone else has given a cheaper price?
I know in my line of work if...
Ok no probe will give you a shout on Clio renewal.
Currently got the Jag on a classic, 1500 miles a year, agreed value for £180 which I didn't think was too bad - suppose it can't really get much cheaper thinking about it!
For me, would be the MK1. I think with these cars it's much more important to get a minter that will go up in value and sell easily, over a scruffy newer version that no-one is really going to want come sale time.
I've got to clean an engine that's covered in oil…the dipstick has been left out so it's spat oil everywhere.
Whats the easiest/quickest/safest way??!
Was thinking lots of APC, jet wash, fairy liquid?
