Really enjoyed this today, was good to meet a few people.
I didn't actually take any pics/vids of other peoples as there was plenty people of at it so thought it was covered!
Good effort Tom for organising, a good turnout.
Went to the EM meet today organised by Tom, was spot on and really enjoyed it. Was only 20 mins from me so decided to take the M3, then back home and there again to run the V6 - mainly just out of curiosity for what they get!
M3 was up first:
After having some problems we worked out it...
I could drive across in the V6 and leave it at yours? Then swap again after? I've got to be at work in Derby at 2pm-ish though so can't hang around too long after…?
Thanks mate.
Cheers. Kind of, but the Jag hardly moves, the bike is a pain to unlock as I have 8 locks and is too noisy in the mornings, and the M3 blocks them all in at night. Normally treat myself on a Friday with the V6 if it's not raining!
I'm a Project Manager with a bespoke metal fab...
It's literally just tiny bits of surface rust and bubbling up to now, so nothing to worry about so long as it's sorted at some point soon. Just makes you laugh as my M3 has seen more rain this month than the jag has since it rolled off the line and it's suffering already!
I'm looking forward to...
Not used it for a while unfortunately mate, not had chance.
I've got the day off after I get back from Croatia so hoping to take it to these guys for some advice:

Supposed to be the best around my area. Although it is running beautifully at the...
Clean pics are actually from last week but forgot about them!
also finally got round to collecting my new wheel cap, rear number plate light and some silver visions for the Clio.
Eurgh!
And a couple of the Jag I cleaned a few weeks ago Phase1sr
Although it is rusting after...
Think I'm going to drive up in my Vee tomorrow since I've got nothing to do and the weather looks good, if anyones going drop me a PM, would be good to walk round with someone!
It's a proper fitted one, he said it cost him £600 new!
To be fair I might be wrong but would make sense to me with them being very light and fairly consistent on the car.
I know, just need to get to Renault to try and buy one!
Thanks for all the nice comments, does have quite a few marks as the previous owner has used a cover and kept the car outside so needs a good machine polish, but looks mint from 2+ feet away.
I love it!
Woke up slightly hungover and my usual cure is bacon and car cleaning, had a good run in the V6 Sunday afternoon too so was a bit dirty. Will be having a full machine polish to try and get it to 100% perfect (or as good as I'm capable of!) so this was the start with a good clean, deter, iron-X...
Yeah I know what you mean and I did think the same, but I have also always wanted to own a V6, my realistic dream car list was Porsche (although a 911 I wasn't too far off!) M3 and V6, so I've ticked those boxes now which has made me very happy!
I'm hoping to settle down a bit now though, 6...
See your point but it's flawed slightly in my opinion, combined value is around £35k so that's what to base another car on, i.e AMV8. However the Porsche is now sold which was always the plan so that lowers the value down £8k to £27, which is a bit more humble. And I'm not sure what there is for...
Nah, probably a third!
They are certainly awesome!
Thanks dude, it sounds epic!
Possession is 9/10's of the law right?!
Probably not, the last owner has only done 600 miles in it since buying it! Think there's a few localish though.
You too ;)
I think it's probably going to end up...
Haha no time for tyre shine dude! Will get a spanking clean on Monday when I'm hungover!
No worries, assuming it's good news so glad I could help!
thanks ColinG it will be very clean but want to do a couple of thousand a year hopefully, maybe a bit more. Want to enjoy it since I've wanted one...
