I told you this will be the end of Clio Rs range being at the top.
They've lost the market for a long long time now, ford are way ahead, even with the aftermarket parts too
I'm not keen eye for detail, I'd look at those mirrors and assume they were carbon with how glossy they were. Unless there was signs of creases etc
the bonnet is easy to tell, such a big part
Yes, that's perfectly normal.
My 172 did it and my 200 since new has done exactly the same.
Just enjoy it, makes me think I own a race car for 20 seconds.
Just leave it come off cold start before driving it, it's only 30 seconds, tops.
I drive mine hard. When I do, it goes under 20, but when I drive normal, it returns normal car mpg figures, like the ones I've stated.
i don't have to drive like a fairy to get those figures. I just drive at speed with the traffic, that's why I don't get these horror stories.
my friends CTR...
Lol... 70-75 on cruise control funnily enough.
i suppose these cars engines are similar to the 1*2's? You get your good ones and your bad ones.
And thankfully I have a good one.
Ripping it a new arsehole is a bit extreme..? Chris Harris even mention how half hearted the GP is.
I do love the Gp's, I nearly bought one. But it was just for the rarity, nothing else.
This is where this thread gets divided down to just being people's opinions. My 200 is always seeing 33+...
I won't listen to your view. if your mini that is 'terrible' on fuel, but is still 'far better' than your 197 was, something wasn't right with your 197. And if it was nowhere near as quick.
They are. Fact. Maybe not after 120+
Then there was something wrong with your 197 to be returning that Mpg.
i drove to Bath yesterday and back for Castle Combe Action day, and I only used £35 in fuel. 220 miles. My friends astra Vxr used £55
terrible mpg, and still better than the 197? Hole...
Wear is fine, hard side walls, should see 10K + out of them
they're a pretty tough tyre until you get heat in them, so unless your driving hard on them everyday (getting them warm and softening them) they'll be just as good wear as a road tyre
Tell him he either pays that or fully refunds the heap of s**t he sold to you.
Make it sound like he has no choice, not saying your car is a heap, these things happen.
But I'd be making him back into a corner
Lol! Yeah, if your happy with them now, you'll enjoy them more and more as they wear. And don't be shy in keeping them on down to the markers either, that's when they're at their best in the dry weather.
Even with a hammering on my 200, they always wore evenly, outside walls are brilliant.
Yes, much much better. They were amazing with ^that tread, with less movement and all that, was gutted to be taking them off.
But obvious reason, it was dire in anything more than damp with just that tread left, I've still got them to use on some track wheels when I get some
