I killed my phone totally. Dropped it. Sim card tray fell out and I found the Sim card reader legs on the table. So had to send it away for repair. Feck.

Is anyone still struggling with root? Search for how to root like a boss on the forum. Boot twrp up from the phone without installing it. It means you take ota updates and then can reroot straight after.

Yep. You need the latest gapps program to install it. Get gapps full from the xda website

You can still warranty it regardless of it being in contact or not. Id do that then sell it.
