Re: Changed standard seats for clio sport seats, airbag light won't go off! MOT FAILU
If you pay to become a forum member I'm pretty certain there's a guide that tells you how exactly to do this.
It's £12 a year and honestly worth every penny.
I fitted some to Clarkeys 172 recently and even with a restrictive inlet and a knackered U/S H02 it still did +10hp over standard on standard inlet so with those bits fixed I expect it to make a smidge over 180hp
Yeah the solid mounted racks are without doubt a great piece of forward design from Renault and you're unlikely to have issues due to mounting bush wear again but as you say its not a 5min conversion.
I don't mind EPAS but I really don't like the eBay unit for on-the-fly variable control over the assistance. It's okay in the hands of someone sensible that puts the time in to find a safe medium but put it in the hands of a muppet who doesn't know any better and thinks its funny to have max...
Not really as they're hard wired with no plug connections. You be better off removing the interrupts and repairing the breaks to see if it fixes the issue (personally I don't think it will)
I said something similar to Dan recently whilst discussing Vik's most recent incident. Show's the little French tin is actually pretty well protected even without a cage.
Ignore the AutoData process and figures, they're wrong! Find yourself a download of the Renault PDF manual (Search function should turn something up for you) and make sure you use ALL the setting tools. Its not a difficult job but it's not for the faint hearted either as you do need more than...
It would fit yes but you'd need to break out the gas axe and do some serious fabrication work to mount the devil. It would also add some SERIOUS weight to the nose if you attempted to drop it up front making the car terrible in the turns. Really you'd have to bang it in the ass and unless you...
How do you mean Jay? Use the engine from this and drop it into a Clio or make this into a Clio Vee spec?
We dropped an L7X from a 406 in to a phase 1 R19 for a guy. I've been asked to wire it up and make it run shortly
Nothing runs on a direct battery/unfused circuit... to do so would be dangerous!
It could be an issue with a control/actuator relay sticking (live data and physical temp checks would help confirm or deny this) an actuator, controller or accessory issue.
Without seeing the car though it's a...
I'm sure the French took a reliable system and tried to make it work for less €€€'s
Same with the M9R 2.0dCi (ive not seen the 1.6dCi yet but i assume that'll be chain driven to)
Time will tell on reliability but so far so good.
I was going to suggest this also Sean
Ade T the Renault Cobra/Sigma fitted alarm systems have there own built in battery pack in the power sounders. It's easy and common to point the finger of blame at this but if the auto electrician has done his/her job correctly they would be able to...
