mine wasn't timed correctly so Dan sorted mine and now it runs better and my MPG has improved(think he found tippex too) like I said I will be going to Dan for sure when the belts are due :) nice drive up there too and the gf had fun in the shops lol

or just buy new headlights- I did this about £45 ish e bay

he is ages away but is well worth the trip he did my cambelt timing for me - more than happy, he will be doing my belts when due also problem is round here I wouldn't trust any garage to touch my 172.... you need a specialist to do your cambelt/ dephaser its not a job 'any garage' can do

don't think you will get 225's on a 1*2 Clio with no arch trouble but I could be wrong

My horn on my 172 sounds like its gone to a single one its all high pitched! where is it under the bonnet? and is this an easy fix? I feel like an old woman when using it now its horrible help !! lol

to reply to your last bit (couldn't be boved reading all of it) I replaced my bulbs by removing the grill so you don't always need to take the whole front end off !

all the mounts are rubbish but also bear in mind the exhaust has to move so don't make one too firm!

I would become a full member then you can go in your Section and see if any meets are local to you 172's are great cars, not slow and you can get great MPG also
