I've recently moved from Apple to the Galaxy Nexus and am glad i did. The only thing I haven't yet found is a browser that does predictive text well when typing on forums.
Did it come just in the post normally, or was it Recorded / Special Delivery?
I missed the postie yesterday and it was something Special Delivery. I'm not sure what it was!
I'd hold off getting the Nexus for the minute - there's quite a significant software problem affecting some handsets where, web in a '2G' (EDGE, GPRS) area the phone mutes itself and can't be adjusted.
Does look awesome in the flesh though. Big but very, very sexy.
Quite an odd launch, just allowing one P4U site to sell it. I imagine a lot more stores will have it tomorrow.
Hopefully O2 can give me a decent upgrade next week. People are suggesting that their retentions team are offering the phone for free on £37/month contracts.
As a noob to Android, I'm not sure I'd get the benefit of the 'pure' Android experience as I'd have nothing to compare it to.
That aside, and the fact that the other phones will get ICS next year, the tech specs aren't exactly groundbreaking. I prefer the design over the GS2 though.
Lol, I'd love to keep hold of it but it's far, far from mint!
Yeah Tom, have heard conflicting reports that say you get a refurbed 1st Gen back and others suggesting it's replaced with a new one. I imagine they'll get rid of their 1st Gen stock and then move onto newer models or start...
My battery life is much better.
CBA to paste a picture but I have 46% left with usage of 4.5 hours and 1 day 4 hours standby.
My iPhone 4 has never gone 48 hours between charges. It might today.
Thought I'd give this another go this afternoon, after a half dozen occasions of the game freezing I switched my PS3 off again.
Still, nice to blow the cobwebs away, innit?
Yes, but I imagine that it'll only be the status that has changed on the system. Nothing physically will be happening to the item today.
I'm sure I'd be the same if I was expecting to receive it on Tuesday, but tomorrow is the only day that will really define whether you get the game on time or...
Lol, "so, I built this awwwwwsome PC and then I, like, carried them outside for some photos...."
They all look obscenely cool, in a geeky way, but I don't really get 'it'.
You must seriously like playing computer games to spunk this kind of money on a machine that plays computer games.
Interesting that you say 'it's done' Revels, but the article suggests that the patent could be invalidated as its too broad, simple or "obvious".
I'd copy and paste from the BBC but it won't let me do it on my iPhone for some reason...
I suppose all it will really do is force other manufacturers to create more innovative ways to unlock their phones, such as facial or voice recognition.
