Yeah I'm the same Dave, ordered a couple pads and Tripple and have had a Paypal receipt but nothing from PB. Don't mind if stock is all gone but I'd like to know so I can decide whether to wait or change my order.
They're understandably manic though.
Calm down.
Right, don't use a low-powered machine to apply polish because you'll end up with buffer trails where you haven't been able to generate enough speed / heat to properly work the polish.
Any wax will work on any paint, it's case of deciding what you want from a wax really. Even though...
Odd decision not to release both together but maybe they'll wait and see how popular the range becomes. Wouldn't surprise me if a branded machine, etc follows in future.
Yeah I was thinking the same tbh. I've become a big fan of AutoFinesse but polishes are a funny market and it's only their first foray into it. I've no doubt they'll be very good and I'm confident they would have waited until they were right before releasing, but a lot of people have spent a lot...
Snowfoaming is going to be expensive if you don't have a pressure washer & lance. Instead, stick some pre-wash in a pump sprayer with warm water... cheap and bloody effective.
It shouldn't be, they have a habit of going 'off' quite easily - normally they take on an almost greasy appearance.
Mind need respraying as I masked them up last time I polished the car and the tape pulled some of the black paint off. :(
If I'm not mistaken, the trim isn't rubber but painted plastic. Try giving it a good clean with an APC and then a bit of light polish. I found GTechniq P1 worked well on mine.
Nah, he re-applied the badges after polishing and before any wax/sealant so there wouldn't have been any polish residue left on the paint (if wiped down properly).
Oh I don't disagree Chip, I'm nowhere near enough experienced or knowledgable to be able to cast an opinion on the merits of going to that length. But it's a damn good selling point...
I do enjoy reading the OCD write-ups and treat it as a hobby and a way of spending some much-needed time in my...
Put it this way. If I had a car worthy of spending the money that these people charge I would research who to use using the available resource, of which DW is the best.
I would then make my decision based on how confident I would be that I would get the desired quality of work completed. The...
Cheers mate, I got it as a present last year and it's been sat in my shed ever since! I did get a guide emailed to me by the Reflectology guy ages ago so I'll dig that out and see how the pads are considered.
I've not used AS Smart Wheels or G101, but you use Tardis neat (either spray on and wipe or dab on with a MF cloth) and I use Citrus Pre-Wash at around 10:1. Yuo can adjust depending on how strong you need the cleaning agent to be though... on the backs of wheels that haven't been cleaned for a...
So I'm planning on giving the Beemer a bit of love and attention and am going to crack out the Scholl S17+ I've had for a while now.
Will this with the Scholl Spider Pads refine down well enough to not need a finishing combination after, or do I need a finishing polish to follow?
If so, what...
Technically, the smallest quantity AutoSmart sell is 5L. You can find various smaller quantities on eBay but note that they'll be posted in 'illegal' containers and could be diluted down.
I wanted a smaller quantity so went with Valet Pro Citrus Tar & Glue Remover. Also, Auto Finesse sell...
Today I've mostly been ordering...
Megs Gold Class shampoo (not used it for years so fancied a blast from the past)
Drying towel
Clay
VP Citrus Tar & Glue Remover
A couple spare spray bottles
and a litre of Espuma RD50 from Rob on here.
I was seconds away from also ordering a DAS6 Pro but my...
I did the whole TV-on-wall thing for years and never managed to make it look like I wanted to. TV's above fireplaces are always too high...
It sits on a slick gloss white Ikea stand now, with all AV equipment tucked away, and looks much better.
I agree with gally that prep is so, so important on silver. Tar spots show up so easily that they can really ruin the look of an otherwise clean car - mine's currently covered in spots and I've run out of Tardis.
I currently use Blackhole followed with Werkstat Acrylic and Z6. A few layers and...
