Got this fault come up and it brought up the EML. I dont know what is causing this. Ive took out brake pedal switch and give it a clean. My brake lights are working. What would be the fix for this?

Im gonna phone Fred on monday or tuesday when hes open and ask him. But im sure it was brake pedal sensor because Fred cleared it then the light went off mate. So im bit confused :/

Well Fred plugged it in yesterday and thats what it said. He cleared it but came back today. It just came on both times will im travelling at 60 mph. I will give him a ring again friday or turs and ask him. But im 100% sure it was brake Pedal switch circuit i think it said

Okay nice one. I phoned up about the brake pedal switch and he was asking what colour is it? Green blue etc.. But its white and black. So guessing i just say that.

If i got a new brake pedal switch would the engine light go out? Or would i have to get it plugged in and fault cleared mate?

Is that the switch that is above brake pedal? The one you got to turn to get out?

If i was to fix the problem some how. Would the light go off itself or would have to plug it in and get error cleared?

Lmaooo, truee. But its not affecting my braking at all. Everything seems fine.

Basically was on way Fred yesterday on A45 and the EML came on. Got to Fred and he plugged it in and it said brake pedal sensor or something. He cleared it anyway and today on warwick bypass it came back on!! No other lights on, no loss of power or anything. Any one help?

Oh ATS did the tracking for me. Okay if i do that and that dont sort it then its steering arms you reckon?

The tracking has been done 3 times and they say its spot on now. If i got play in steering arms what would i need to change?

So you suggest steering rack bushes to mate? I think im going to start there. My track rod ends and lower arms are fine as i had a mechanic check for me. Did you fit the rack bushes yourself?

But i read on another thread that if it was top mounts i would hear banging noises, also noises when turning the steering wheel. But im not sure?

The tyre pressure is correct got them checked when tracking, got that nitrogen air in them.
