Great results as silver can sometimes be such an unrewarding colour but it's come up really well.
That is one seriously clean and tidy car, A real credit to you.
It's a great product but that is a serious amount of CP you've used in one go.
Car is looking lovely, Wish I'd got a nice was tester pot as I got Temptation which I already own :(
I love doing wheels If they are silver, Any other colour then it's not very satisfying IMO.
Decon stage on a light coloured car as it's visually easy to see your results.
Final wipe down and tyre dressing are just the finishing touches that once you done you can stand back and admire.
G-Techniq G1/5 will reduce the need to use your wipers which could help reduce smearing on the screen.
I like AF Crystal for a glass cleaner but as said just keep it as clean and smear free as possible.
The paint is so bad anyway that a few more marks aren't going to hurt, Hoping Santa brings me a DA so I can correct it in spring, I just wanted to get a solid bit of protection on it to make winter cleaning that bit quicker and easier.
I do love black 'when' it is clean.
Just gave it a wipe over with Eraser so will see if that makes a difference, If not may have to strip it back and reapply and immediately after application give it an IPA wipe over rather than weeks after initial application.
I can't say condensation is too bad on this car, Definitely better than my Clio was... Did give the inside a very quick wipe over with Crystal yesterday so may be a little smeary.
With Winter definitely now on its way here I decided I needed to spend a few ££'s and order a few new bits to give the car a bit of winter protection.
The car was neglected for about 2 weeks so was looking sorry for itself.
Gave the car a spray with Citrus Power and RDS as I'm running...
The G1 experienced, What is wrong here?
Poor prep?
Poor application?
Poor removal?
Water beads off nicely but I notice these weird marks and are very obvious when condensation is there, It was my first time using it and I seem to have done something slightly wrong :(
I have to resist doubling up on products like tyre shine even if it was nice to use, Certain products I don't mind having a selection of but tyre shine??
I liked the Eco tyre shine for application and looks but it didn't last long.
Bullet Carnuba Spray? This from a while ago or do I need to pay more attention to what I have in the boxes?
Just curious if anyone has ordered any full sized bottles of anything they have received in a Waxybox?
I see JD and Scrooge are waiting for Hubikote Shampoo but has anything else impressed?
I have so much Lather left but Hubikote felt so good to use and if it helps with water marks then it's seriously tempting.... I have officially joined the ranks of addict :(
I have no issue with the smell, Yes it's not great but I use it outside so see no issue... Maybe helps that I've worked with Perm solution in the past so kind of used to it.
Can't see how the Cherry version smells much different because the fundamental ingredients are still there.
Agreed I just gave my Mothers car a quick once over and thought I may as well try it.
Iron X is still the best fallout remover and I'm running out :( So tempted to buy it in bulk as I go through it quite quickly.
Agree with Jamie.
Just used the Britemax Wheel cleaner and Iron remover from the Anniversary box and must say IMO it is terrible, I gave the wheels a once over with the wonder wheels and then applied this afterwards in hope it would remove the remaining fallout, Tiny bit if bleeding but barely...
Yes they are... I bought the AF Wax Applicator and it's a dream to use, Just gives such an easy light wax application... Well worth the couple of £'s.
Same with some Foam applicators for things like Sealant and MF applicators for polishes and bits.
The paintwork was heavily swirled before claying, Really just looking for whichever will hold up best over winter and in spring I'll look at getting the paint corrected.
