Last day of Jan sales at Extreme Gleam such as Angelwax Desirable for £43 along with a fair few AF products at good prices.... Just a heads up for anyway who may want to make some purchases.
We need a CS detailing meet, Obviously the unit is the regular spot for this but for those a bit away we need some other locations, I have a good sized drive but our garage is full of junk and am in North Suffolk slap bang between Ipswich and Norwich.
Girlfriends Dad wants a Windback tool kit, Seen Sealey and Clarke kits for just over £50, Can anyone recommend any other kit readily available and decent for less? He wants it to do left and right and have plenty of attachments to cover a range of vehicle applications.
Thanks.
If you want to buy a few key products to try I'd buy the AF Sample set and maybe ObliTARate and Iron Out as you can then order all them from Auto Finesse, Clay I'd stay with Bilt Hamber.
Tar removers and Fallout removers are important if your car is heavily contaminated like my Brothers car...
You'll want a quick wash between tar remover and Claying otherwise the Clay will start to dissolve.
Also worth considering buying a Fallout remover such as Iron X to use before Claying.
Does seem a good deal and rated well from what I've read.
I've had CP and RDS and although they helped a bit can see Snowfoam being more suited to me for quick refresh washes through the summer.
Nope... Toyed with the idea for ages but never bought, Decided I'd buy on payday (Tomorrow) and my Pressure washer has broken, Old mans gonna try and fix it at some point otherwise that's another purchase required :(
To save constantly repeating others but going from lots of recommendations.
Wheel Brush - Wheel Woolies from Polished Bliss (Pricey but you said you're prepared to spend money)
Clay - Bilt Hamber
Shampoo - AF Lather or Hubikote, I really like both but am favouring Hubikote at the mo.
Wax -...
Iron X, Iron Out, Dragons Breath etc.
Depends how serious you are about getting them cleaned and sealed.
GT C5 is seemingly one of the best sealants but wheels need to be properly prepped before applying.
C2v3 can be sprayed on and will offer some protection but not loads as is not a...
AF Revive is a decent temp trim restorer, I have a sample of a Gyeon which iirc Gally rated quite highly, AF also have Dressle but reading a few reviews on here seems more suited to arch liners, engine bays and grills.
I'm very new to detailing so have limited knowledge but I have revive and...
When I next need to buy Shampoo I shall be going with Hubikote as its just a pleasure to use :)
Can't help on waxes as my knowledge is slim but samples seem your best bet... I'm getting a small collection of them.
