Bloody hell @cs_dave that’s gutting!! Hope your ok, if you are that’s the main thing. At least your handy with the spammers so can repair it easily enough. There’s plenty of minis being broken (don’t start on the minis though, killing Clio’s was bad enough!! Lol)
That looks so much better @cs_dave !! I hate you though, I've done nothing but look at these since you've posted it!! I'm going to have to have one. Miss petrol forced induction cars.
What's it like day to day? Yours is the 170hp isn't it as opposed to the older 168hp?
Love it Dave. Even like the interior. I've got a real hankering for one but the cooper we had ended up a nightmare with one thing or another and the fact it's only 4 seats.
Hi and welcome! My 1.2 16v went on and on and on with minimal servicing, they stand up to abuse well.
An easy upgrade for the interior is a 172/182 leather and Alva Tara interior, can be picked up reasonably cheaply now a days.
Lowering and alloys is a personal choice really, but don't go...
Go back onto chat now and say that you've had an offer of 60% off plus £100 account credit. They will say "ok let me check", then come back and say "I can only offer 50% and £50 credit". If that's any good to you accept it.
Congrats mate! I'm very jealous of you, would love one!! I think the cutting out is the start stop system, wish you could turn them off completely!
Get some pictures up please
You'd of thought that as the screen/stereo set up is the same (as long as you have lux pack) then it would be possible. After all I imagine most if not all of the sensors are already there and running, the rs monitor just displays the data normally only sent to the ecu. (But I'm thick so...)
We've got a few pairs of skullcandy uproar wireless headphones and they are great for the money imo. Battery lasts well and they feel nice. Can be had for about £20 from home bargains etc.
Sounds good then. Doubt he would lie really, because he works at the garage your buying from. Any problems you go back there and have it fixed, plus then they will see that it was caused by the previous owner.
Reference the tyres, ask them to replace the ones that are worn if they are bad...
I'm sure the diagnostic can read how many times the launch control has been activated, might be worth asking. I wouldn't worry about anything, 3 years warranty and 3 years breakdown cover included. Just enjoy it mate, wish I could get one!!
Probably the best £12 you'll spend (to do with the car obviously)
Mole grips could be of use to get the rusted screws out if you get a firm grip on the head. Worth a try.
Looks good, certainly an improvement by removing the mud flaps.
That looks awesome with the spacers. Really suit it. Why oh why don't Renault make the wheels sit better?? All Renault sports have stupid offsets which require spacers to sit properly.
