i havent driven it today as i am not feeling well but i thought i would takje a battery voltage reading as i havent driven it since 11 last night and it was at 12.7v so i think the battery is fine, may of been a one off
i went out to start the car earlier and the immobiliser wouldnt switch off.
when i sat in the car i locked the car via the key and when the arrows on the dash come up the airbag, seatbelt and abs light were all coming on very dim with the arrows
does this sound like a battery fault?
i rang renault spares earlier and apparently the part is behind the front bumper. i follwed a vacuum pipe from the throttle body down to the front bumper and there is a large black box with a duct pipe on it, its behind the passenger fog lamp, about 2 inches about it so it could bethat

yeah its needs a little work but time is on my side so i plan to tidy it up and change a few things

how much does a milltek single exit exhaust cost?
yeah the exhausts are coming off asap for a milltek and the brakes are bigger than standard but the pictures dont really show it

i had the codes read on my 172 and it came up eith a Bi Air Inlet Solenoid Valve
anyone ever heard of this as the main techs at my local renault dealer havent heard of this before
can anyone shed some light on it as it keeps bringing the light on

i just got a 2002 ph2 172 with 45k on the clock
chuffed to bits with the car as it feels a lot more solid than the civic vti i used to own
drives well and goes like stink
a few problems that need sorting like the temp gauge, any help would be appreciated...

i done the self diagnosis on my ph2 172 as my temp gauge doesnt work
all the needles done the sweep except for the temp gauge
what should i do next?
replace the cluster?

i just tried the self diagnosis method, (press the button on the stalk and switch ignition on) the dials went through the cycle but the temp needle didnt move
should i try another instrument cluster?
recently my ph2 172 has been acting up
when i indicate left as the green arrow on the dash comes on the right side flickers and the temp gauge had stopped working
are these problems related to an earthing problem? or something else

my engine management light came on last night in my ph2 172 with the electrical fault light, i pulled over switched the engine off for about 2 mins and then started up again, but the engine management light is staying on, i cant seem to notice a difference in performance,
is it safe...
the water leak happened last saturday and the temp gauge happened monday night,
i did think it was a bit weird but i sat in the car when the water leak happened and the gauge was working fine
