Hmm it's interesting you say this because i have a similar problem, i had all my brakes checked over and apparently they were all good so for now i am going with changing all the suspension bushes etc as they are probably all shot anyways. Did you rebuild them yourself or send them off?
The power steering normally wines anyways, i had mine replaced for a brand new one and still wined ha. So it could be that wining and the alternator that's fucked. Any other symptoms? Let us know how you get on.
As @bloke says how old is the belt and tensioner, if it's old or done 36k or more then replace with a full aux kit from somewhere like RPD and you will be golden. I recently changed mine and was a bit of a pain in the ass, but used the jubliee clip on the tensioner and that done the trick nicely.
Lol well its always a case of wanting rather than needing. I really shouldn't be looking at getting a new car as there isn't really anything wrong with mine, not that it has stopped me in the past. That's how i ended up with this one in the first place haha.
Basically if i keep mine i will want...
Can't help you with regards to the bolts. If you have a look through my thread i believe it has the link to the eBay advert where i got my Febi ones from. Would be worth sticking a powerflex support in as well. If you want to go on track then swap to stiffer like Vibra.
No picture update. Received my injectors from @cs_dave during the week. Decided to have a go at fitting them today. All went well was a bit of a pain getting them back in, but took her for a spin afterwards and seems a bit smoother and better throttle response so bit of a result.
Next week will...
What did you have in mind? I think the gearbox will be my next big mechanical job, get a scrap one and rebuild and stick a diff in with new clutch flywheel and PMS shifter :)
Trust me to have the least desirable Clio haha, the wheels came like that on the car it wasn't my choice. I'm hopefully going to get some new wheels soon.
Always see a liquid yellow 200 on the M25 in the morings around 7:30ish and on the way back. Also today saw an artic blue 182 cup going to the Sainsburys on the main road in Winnersh/Early.
Anyone on here?
Look what i got today :)
I think that is now everything, just waiting for some injectors which should hopefully be here tomorrow. Speaking to Kev he is going to re wire my seat as well so that should resolve the airbag light. Need to get a gas soldering iron as my s**t electric one takes for...
Spoke to Kev at Armstrong today and he gave me a very good price on all the work so the car is going to be booked in with him for 3rd July, that's when things will get interesting. Only thing he can't do is set it up so i will have to take it elsewhere for that. Should be getting alot more...
Hmm when i called RPD i asked them about this and they said all the specialists order that one so that's why i went for it. I can always supply and see what they reckon. I might give Kev from Armstrong a call today and see what his prices are like and being in Luton it's very handy.
Yer i did...
