Having some trouble with my cruise control it doesn't work lol. The lights comes on the dash, but after 5 mins of driving it goes and doesn't come back on until I restart the car. The other function works, but eventually turns off.

I think so, the guide on here tells you which. They have to go in backwards unlike the dash clock ones. The window switch ones are 1.8mm leds

How did you go about blanking the egr valve out? Such as which bits do you blank and how? Seen a few ways how to but not sure if it's worth it? Any benefits or problems?

Found this egr blanking plate on ebay http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/131089989009?nav=SEARCH then I'd just need to fit some resistors on the plug to stop the eml light coming on. Reckon i'll put a straight through on soon and have an exhaust tip and cutout on rear bumper

I've read a few how to's on various renault forums but unsure weather to do it. Yeah it could do with a clean after running poorly, i'll give it a go and see how it from there. Also has anyone removed the backbox and gone for a straight through pipe?
