There's a starter on the back of the light could remove the one from the working side and try it to see if it's that? if that doesn't work it could be the ballast.

Exactly this. If something sounds too good to be true it usually is. Looks like they mucked up the price and and are trying to recover costs every way possible.

I fitted a splitter to the front bumper

I had sirius dark and enjoyed using it. Only thing I wasn't keen on was the gritty nature.

Originally I wasn't sure about the size and how fragile itd be but at the moment it's holding up well. When I use the girlfriends 5+ horrible now.

I agree with above. Citrus pre wash. I used it on my works van with no protection and a it came up like this just with a pressure washer.
