Well my car was due the cambelt change last April. The car had covered only 8,000 miles in that time but the 5 years had past so everytime I drove anywhere it was in the back of my mind.
Whilst the car was at s.g motorsports he was going to investigate my gearbox that had crunched a bit since...
I had one order from them a couple of years ago. A couple of spray heads and something else small was missing. I contacted them via email and they responded quickly to say the missing items would be posted quickly.
They never arrived so I will never use them again either. Not a great company by...
Depends what your after.
I hit a pigeon in mine and the dent was very small. My old bonnet had a few spots of rust on the underside as well which I wasn't happy with.
After speaking to my mate at the body shop we decided if he had to rub it down treat any rust fill the dent and any other...
Yes it's got a bulkhead mate. I wouldn't be without. Keep so much noise/dust and smell away and a lot safer.
First impressions of it are good. Silent at cruising speeds!
Looks like I'm going to have to do a trailer test then! @Knuckles
I'll make sure I have a car there @Sunglasses_Ron thanks for the kind offer of driving one. Could alway chauffeur me home Sunday then I could get smashed and not worry about having to drive, I wouldn't want you to miss out on a...
Well known car on the v6 forum plenty of knowledge on it. A Past owner was searching for more horse power. I don't know the ins and outs as it was before I joined the club.
Not sure if be paying that for it. Hard one to price with the all the modifications.
I'm not sure if I worded that correctly.
I believe it was advertised around £13k. Is that the price you enquired at?
Somebody bought it at that price and started putting back to original then had an accident on track and then it sold again that day at the track.
Currently says sorn on a vehicle check. The car did sell last year @Knuckles and I'm pretty sure it was crashed on a track day and sold on to someone else on the spot!
The offers there mate although if your around the acle area it's about as far away from me in Norfolk as you can get. (I'm west Norfolk)
Your friend should get one so there's another in the area!
Must be low on owners then compared to most then. If he doesn't use it much anymore others will soon catch it up. Not that it matters I think the engine should be good for high miles. Is he on the v6 forum or get to any shows with it?
Not sure I'd use it much if I had a db9 to play with as well.
I know of 8 between kings Lynn and Norwich. (Including mine) well if your ever want a close look you'd be more than welcome to pop over/ meet up. I haven't made any local events yet but i do plan too.
Back on track.
The inner arch piece arrived from France last week. Will be fitted when I get chance. Hopefully this coming weekend. Had to buy all new fixings with it for both sides as old ones were sized solid and chose to get a new number plate light at the same time. Should make the arse of...
Look forward to it. Are you trying to get the car perfect before you put any pictures up?!
It was cheap and that's why it sold so quick. Literally hours and I think that there was a few potential buyers if the first fell through.
The rev it up car sounds familiar. I can remember whist saving...
Does he let you drive it?
There was a Mars red popped up cheap when I was saving for the first time. I couldn't sort out my money in time and it was snapped up in hours. From memory it was £13500 and on around 35k miles.
It was around £35 from Paul at rpd. Plenty of cheaper alternatives on the bay but didn't think it was something to mess with.
The bonnet catch I ordered was 8200069296
I'm unsure of phase 1 & 2 are the same. The sound of shutting the bonnet with a brand new catch is strangely satisfying...
