Mines always over 400, but I do steady miles. Usually at a constant 60mph for 48 of the 50 miles I do everyday :)
I have a 3.15 3.0 M3 diff too man. I reckon I could crack 500 without it! Try to keep the revs below 3k RPM on the motorway, which is just under 70 if I remember correctly.
You...
Took a trip to Shrewsbury yesterday to pickup a fresh Techno Violet bonnet.
Mine was badly rusting at the front edge...
Pit stop
Combined with going to Center Parcs at the weekend (saw a storm grey 200?) I achieved my best miles per tank so far...
Followed by the most expensive fillup...
update time, mistletoe and wine
Haven't updated this for a while.
Past few months I've had to do a bit of maintenance, firstly I had or perhaps still have a coolant leak, which I changed the radiator bottle seals firstly as its common to fail and cheap to fix. It's got winter wheels and tyres...
I've read it's comma oil too, I think it even says it on the bottle?
Mate of mine's dad actually works in the engine oil industry, and on his recommendation for the price it's hard to beat Motul 8100 - it's what I use in both my cars.
Cheers!
Are your wheels genuine M3 ones? I was told the sport BBS would sit fine with 15mm spacers and no rubbing, surely the sizes can't be that different?
Looking better mate!
I'd say get the rear coilies on though! I know you don't use it on track but mis matching suspension doesn't seem a grand idea to me.
What suspension is on the back? looks a lot like how mine sits with eibach pro springs.
I presume you're referring to the comparison point I made (quote!)
A small convertible sports car against everyone's favourite hatchback? You want me to explain that further? Lol.
Compare it to the S2000, the Boxster. Let the Golf run its comparisons against the Megane 225, the Audi S3 etc...
To be fair you can't really compare a Golf to a Z4.
I was really tempted by a Mk5 GTi as a daily, I think they're the only modern VAG which looks good in white, almost as good as the Mk2 GTi did.
